Thanks for that. You are right and I can see myself cheering on in October, raging I didn't train for it. I change my mind on things a lot.

    29th May
6m @ 7m/m and 2m cooldown. Leg felt ok during but after and since not so good.

Today was a right off. Was at the soul festival in temple bar last night, which was deadly and messy.

After a few weeks of carrying a hamstring injury its finally seeing some improvement. On another positive note, I hit the 1000mile challenge yesterday with a 13m easy run. I missed the long runs.

3 days running this week so far: 6.4m, 13.2m & 7.5m. The hammy is sore but not getting worse ;)

I'm considering DCM as I really enjoyed yesterdays run and it reminded me how much I enjoy the long ones. So on that note, thats this log finished. Thanks again for all of the advice and positive comments that really helped along the way. See ya around the logs.

    Andy

Looking forward to the next log.

Hope to meet you at the Adidas races.

Best of luck with DCM training - I'm skipping it this year so I'll be living vicariously through the efforts of all the boardsies.:D

Looking forward to the next chapter of your running career, and congrats on the 1,000 miles. Once recovered, it will set you up nicely for a good second half of the year.
