Looking for a gearbox for an 88 Renault Trafic

    ....and its proving dificult!!! Anyone know where I could potentially locate one? Gearbox on the van went last week, have used partfinder.ie and micksgarage to see is there anything out there, but no response as yet.

    Any help greatly appreciated - she's dead on the road otherwise!:confused:

    Done a couple of these , the box rarely goes , but the input shaft into it has a splined collar , that wears , and the splines go . Often if you turn it the splines on the other end will work . Worth a look . Is it driving in any gear?

    It should be repairable instead of changing the all gear box.
    I confirm, it will be very hard to find a gear box in Ireland or else maybe give call to old style scrap.
