Absurd speeds on Vodafone

    73Mb download with 0.8Mb upload.

    Tested it on Smart's website and I got 117Mb download with 0.8Mb upload.

    Tried downloading an ISO off HEANets servers and I got a burst speed of 10MB :eek:

    It then stabilised near 2MB which is fairly normal for my line.

    Before anyone cries "Photoshop" take a look at where the image is hosted ;)

    Same here, but I always seem to get these kinda speeds off The speed test sites, can anyone explain this. Am on an 8Mb line.

    Chances are your browser is just caching stuff from the speedtest site, giving a false result.
