:D good old Carlton, Graham Taylor did like him :)

Strikers choice is Sutton, Fash and Andy Cole, with Fash taking the first striker role.

Didn't he also pick Andy Sinton? Two instantly forgettable players.

Right back choice Gary Neville, Paul "Andrew" Parker , and Warren Barton - oh dear :p Warren Barton takes the right back slot.

Remember Arsenal being strongly linked to Sinton at the time.

I do recall Taylor dropping Gazza against Ireland and playing Aston Villas Gordon Cowens instead in a qualifier.

He's the one with the huge honker isn't he?

Anyone even nominating Gary Neville for the worst right back is just blinded by hatred.

Goalkeepers choice Paul "William" Robinson, David Seaman :eek: David "Benjamin" James and Peter Bonetti, Bonetti takes it.

Centre Back Choice Tony "Alexander" Adams  more like the best imo, John "George" Terry , Rio  and John Terry takes it and is captain of the worst England eleven.

Loving Neil "Razor" Ruddocks side comments in this.

I think this show's understanding of 'worst' differs wildy from mine. 3 excellent defenders mentioned there.

Think some of the choices are a bit of a mick take, some of the players they are mentioning I think is a roundabout way of a comparison against the best, hence the likes of Cole, Pearce, Robson being mentioned

Right wing candidates Kieron Courtney Dyer who according to Ruddock has had 25 games too many :p and Aston Villas Tony Daley. Dyer takes it.

Left back candidates Stuart Pearce  based on his pen miss in 1990 against the Germans, Ashley Cole  based on his off the field antics only , but both won't be making it as Philip "John" Neville takes it :)

Centre Midfield Candidates Bryan Robson, Seth Johnson, who??(ex Leeds player), Joey Barton( 1 cap only), Barton takes the first spot.

Second Centre Midfield spot only one candidate Carlton "Lloyd" Palmer :P

Left Wing Wise, Downing, Rob Lee, John Barnes,- wow, he was brilliant in the Argentina Hand of God game, ( he won't be making the worst team according to them), and its Steve Hodge who takes it.

Second Centre back candidates, Southgate, Neil"Razor" Ruddock :p and Keith Curle who takes the second centre back slot.

Second Striker candidates Emile "William Ivanhoe" Heskey, Peter Crouch  and Michael Ricketts who takes it.

Manager candidates Graham Taylor, Keven Keegan and Steve McClaren

    Team in Full :

    Manager : Steve McClaren

    Ricketts Fashnau

    Hodge Palmer Barton Dyer

    Neville Terry Curle Barton

    Bonetti

John Scales in place of John Terry for me.

Its not worst in terms of football performance solely. More to do with slagging off nutty or weird looking or violent or womanising footballers. More like a bad boys/freaks eleven.

Danny Mills should have been in there for P. Neville.
