Same as that, had my first spliff around 17, didn't think much of it and went back to drinking my pint of brandy and vodka.

Tried again a year later ended up standing in the middle of a roundabout trying to get into a hotel over in Athlone but it was hard to tell if it was the weed or French poteen we where drinking that sent me loopy.

A year later I had my first pill, used to do them every weekend for about 5 years, in that time I tried everything else.

When I was 14, just a bit of hash. Got a bit giggly and couldn't stop laughing at stupid things, typical like, but it only lasted for about 10 minuts.:(

When I was 14, in my friends back garden just after band practice. It was our first practice together. After that we didn't get much playing done, our band kinda went nowhere....
Didn't start drinking till I was 15. Parents always rammed down my throat that drinking will do bad things to you. Never once mentioned drugs so I thought 'ah they must be alright so!'

Late into having my first spliff, 21yo at my former work place. Went green and puked my guts up. Probably partly due to it being low grade Lebonese as that what would have been all that was availible at the time.

AFAIK its only illegal to possess(whether for personal use or supply)a narcotic substance.The drug itself isnt banned.thats the way my free legal aid solicitor explained it to me anyhows(ages ago i might add).Im open to correction on that.

Was 14 when I had my first toke.Dont smoke as much now but do enjoy the odd one with a few pints
