Reminds me of the FFPW thread a few days ago!

I've met the lads and they are a lot smarter than what comes across on the radio. I think it's because they spend their time reading and reacting to fan opinions instead of focusing on discussion themselves.

I can understand how aggravating it is to have some anonymous internet user denigrate the years and years of work put into WWR with a swift post but ya gotta handle yourself with more decorum. Putting yourself out there on the internet (the nicest place on earth) invariably means criticism. Don't make enemies on the site, just move on.

if you want please use this intellegent comment which does higlight the capabilities of the lads involved to further discussion about the radio show but also take note of what he says as you will not only get positive or feedback that you believe you deserve from this thread if peoplle dislike the product on offer they are allowed to voice their opinion once they dont make baseless acusation i.e saying that something heinous was said on air when it wasnt in which case they will be moderated by the moderaators including myself.

I've nothing against ye personally (sorry if it came across that way). I used to listen and the fake hatred of Mark Savage just took the piss. Could ye not have had a decent conversation instead of all the fakeness?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,014 ✭✭✭✭jaykhunter

I thought the heel Mark Savage gimmick was amazing but sure that's just me. Seeing the LAW's facebook page blow up during their broadcast, have you considered instead of having people text in, have them interact on your facebook page? So you guys can make points while one person reads out any funny facebook posts? It'd give you guys more time for discussion while also giving your listeners a platform. You guys are online and over the radio so it wouldn't split the audience.

    Anyway just an idea :pac::pac:

anyone link me to the fourm on that site please??

cheers lads for the advice and i will pass it onto the lads today and get them to come on here and have a chat with you.

This was one of the main factors was to get ideas and i think you have giving some good ones and also try improve the show for the future.

i am also sorry for the way i responded to it tbh (fews beers in me) but sorry again

From a boring start to the 3 hour special on Monday Night Raw to a shocking ending with
an invasion from the NXT Rookies damaging the ring and taking out everyone at ringside. Are the WWE finally getting their act together to try and get ratings up by doing shocking stuff?

Over on TNA we'll preview Slammiversary which is on this Sunday.

Join Dave... See more Power, Danny "The Pain" and Mark Savage for 28 minutes of non stop heated discussion, these guys know their wrestling. Dublin's best wrestling chat show that is heard worldwide by many of its fans, even those in America who don't like listening to yes men on various America wrestling radio shows, we back off from nobody and that's the bottom line because we say so. Also note WWR is the second most listened show after Live Drive and that’s a fact, that’s why we’re on air nearly 6 years.

I don't know but when it first started, an American guy called Charlie Wolfe (I think that was his name) used talk to a guy who knew all about it and people could phone in and ask questions. It wasn't a great show looking back on it but a good laugh.

fair enough. Seems a bit mean-spirited to bring it up here though.

Yes, but it's not the first like it says in the original post :pac:

well if you don't know if this RedFM show was actually first or not, it's a moot point to bring up.

Not trying to make a big deal here, was just pointing out that these guys weren't the first...he's giving incorrect information...lets just forget it.

you said you didn't know if RedFM was the first, after matter-of-factly stating that WWR weren't the first. That's pretty mean.
