USIM information/javacard (moved from mobiles)

Hey first time poster. I was trying to find out does the HTC Hero have a usim card reader.Also does meteor support usim javacards or do any irish telecomms companies support this. Thanks in advance for replies :)

Usims are the 3g sims that are used by all networks now.

Not sure what javacards are?
