You probably have, Most of my posting is in the nangers bar, (Usually
    when I can't sleep)

I am a veggie since I was 5 protesting to eat meat
Lately it's really bothering me preparing food for other people that
includes meat. (Since I can't cook it's not that often :))

What time do you have to be up at?

I hate church weddings, priest listening makes my blood boil.

    hmm possibly not.

Ah they all say religion to me, just wouldn't be bothered, let other people if they want, I don't think I'd ever feel the need to prove commitment to someone.

MoN you are making me regret not seeing Muse now.

No I dont see you guys breaking up over it, most dont but maybe it was just a declaration of his love for you and didnt know how to put it into a sort of "I want the world to know so will ask her to marry me" kind of thing...still a pretty sweet and courageous thing to do as men really are fearful of rejection, but usually bounce back!!

Probably because you have someone you love playing the same game, and would not like to see him hurt:(

July 6th is the date I'm expecting...it'll be the same week I expect to recieve my final exam results from this year too:eek:

Alcohol usually numbs pain aye:D Drinks promos would have to be used on nights like those, lots of poor people afterwards if not lol!

If I won the lotto, I'd do just that hehe...and find a way to make Tar 15 and 364 days old again, so the sweet 16 is tomorrow again:p

Apparently us older guys are all the rage for the young'uns, because of maturity levels etc:D

    :eek:Never thought I'd see those words typed up and I didnt do it:eek: This is what I call \m/ R.A.T.M. \m/ :D

They want the skirts to be non-existant:pac: Same when I'm out running, catch all the non-runner males always staring at the a$$e$ of the women in tight running gear:p

Maybe not scared, but he probably seen it as the ultimate public declaration of love, more than can be felt between people?

But an action does not need to be used, all it is would be a silly piece of paper, cash into the R.C. church that already has billions in gold locked away in the vatican, and a massive and ultimately stupid amount of cash to hold a ceremony & reception & honeymoon:(

Maturity is all the rage ;):D

Yes I think your right, I do think it was really sweet because he
finds it literally impossible to discuss his feelings, Typical alpha-male.
I think at any age marraige is a massive step to take and you need to
be certain, Don't really know anyone in a really happy marraige which is
    depressing!

Best of luck! I really hope you get your first choice! :)
Are you looking forward to it?

Seems to be that way alright, last 2 girls really into me were 21 and 19...still figuring out how the current one (19) is planning on viewing us sorta seeing each other haha!

Aye Alphas usually HAVE the feelings, but only find gestures as the outlet to let them be known, and not speech. I'm sure he had all the best intentions anyway, and would be loving you so much that he done it that way instead:)

Thanks so do I, staying in Dub would be awesome and I get to go to a uni I've always wanted to:) And hopefully your little predicament will fizzle out to a non-issue and you'll both be lovingly happy with each other as long as the sun shines:D

7 sets in the same estate? Hell that's unusual!

It is a worrying trend, you do wonder if it's better for the kids if the parents
    are constantly bickering.

How much sleep do you think you'll get? I estimate about three hours.

Possibly, sure people back then got married all over the place, it was the normal thing to do in your late teens and early twenties I gather:)

Not only a culchie thing that either!:)

It is a very useful piece of paper if something goes wrong.

If people want to spend their money that way, it is their choice. Noone forces them into it. It is not up to use to judge them for it.

Thats only if a marriage goes ahead...yes it's vital to have the piece of paper but you could live as happy a life without otherwise needing to go through marriage proceedings:D Marriage, just like a loving relationship SHOULD be lifelong if you see it that way, but there is no need to have to justify one day to ensure the rest of your happiness. Sure I would guess that people who dont get married and just live out their lives together would probably stay together longer too, who knows...

Don't say you'd love to be a teen again, you're in the older guy market now

But I'm swick remember, I can't carry stuff when I'm swick. I went to the local shop this morning and got tomatoes, mushrooms, eggs and fried them up and had beans and toast, that is proper food

    I'm in trouble

I don't see the point in it, it's just a religious thing to me, why would I do that. I know people do it for civil rights and stuff but I wouldn't want to live thinking about that. And it's weird when people change their surnames for it.

Hmm kind of get addicted to them, keep them away.

But I can say los rhythmically too
Only if I pay them a lot eh, what if I write them a nice letter and they do, all about the chaching with you

Ah I remember being younger and envious of the older guy thing that people had going, and it's not that bad now for me :D Still carefree first year of college etc wouldn't be bad again! Party in the student nuig accom with a thousand students for the whole first month yeah!
    1 + 2/3 fyi

Isn't it even more depressing to have built and shared a lifetime with sometime. And for them to leave you wither and die alone, for the sake of romance?
Romantic love is mostly your body trying to trick you into making babies anyways.

It is an action! It is a declaration of respect, intention to do well by your children and commitment. It isn't necessary no, but what is the big deal with not doing it, if you intend to spend a lifetime with someone.
No, not at all for me. I don't particularly want to be with somebody out of what sounds like fear. I think it would be selfish to want them to stay with me in fact. Although I am happier with a gf than not(er generally) I am still quite fine dependently. In fact feels a bit freer sometimes, but who says you just have to die alone anyway if somebody leaves you. Either they love me and I love them or why be with them at all, only live once. Sure being dumped feels terrible, rather that than live a lie. It's all well and nice that you built your life with them and why think badly of those memories, think of them fondly, can still move on.

Everything is a chemical reaction in your brain, that doesn't matter to me.

My partner doesn't need a piece of paper to know I would do well by her/children or whatever, or else she wouldn't know me. Is that not tantamount to just saying that somebody does not trust their partner, dunno, they might find that insulting.

It's not like I'm against it, I might get married I don't know, I'm just not bothered wither way and don't feel we would need it or necessary want it.

Stalking this thread due to boredom. Very interesting to see your views on marriage. Just for the record, I agree with Moonbaby (despite my parents being the very definition of a failed marriage).
The other remark I had to make was that I can't believe miss5 said her bf had proposed, and only LOS noticed! What's wrong with men these days =P And 19.. ugh.

    Finally, older men ftw!

    Yours sincerely,

    Thanks ^_^

I'm positively dreading this exam. I lost some vital notes and I think I got food poisoning? :( But ah it'll be grand I'm sure. It always is =]

Trying not to say this but, yay! for once I'm not the youngest here :)
