No No No. You want to be a lecturer. It is all above board. Well if you were a phd student yourself.
And you get fresh adoring meat every 3 months.
And they are never going to complain once you up their Grade point average :P

    Biblically. :P
    Òh nothing *twinkle*

I would like to be a lecturer for the research, not many hawt young wans in my field though. :p

Oh I imagine I could be lenient with grades, what! I have high moral fibre :p

I love the smell :) Shame he's quitting, to appease my parents.

Meh everyone is old compared to me. Or so they think =P

:) I can't see why anyone would want to go through life without having kids. I adore kids. Not just the looking at their cuteness bit. I don't think a woman should live and die without ever getting the experience of motherhood. Though of course it's up to each person to decide what they want to do with their life so I wouldn't be passing judgement on them.

I know this is gonna make me sound all big headed, but I'm good at learning. So to be honest I'm not too worried about whatever else comes. If I need to study I will. I'm too ambitious to spend years being made to do stuff at school and when I finally get to decide what I want, just slack off and not put in enough effort. Would be a waste after all these years.

Well I'm reading Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett. What do you like? The two books I tend to recommend are 1984 by George Orwell, and Lolita, by Vladimir Nabokov. One for its concept and ideas and the other for its beautiful writing.

Just deep fried some tofu. Yum! I always need junk food when I'm in exam mode =]
Now you can go, he even stopped smoking to make you like him mummy waaah. =]

No particular interest in kids. Would be interesting to see what my progeny would be like but if I was it also might be better to adopt a child and give them a good upbringing. Perhaps none will do /cross fingers

    Good choices for books.

The weather stayed really good but I'm still the same colour and all the germans were really friendly and excellent english and stuff. Aww that is sweet of him though! Shows he cares :)
Meh everyone is old compared to me. Or so they think =P

I'm not really a big believer in age. One of my best girly mates is 80.
She is a total legend! Gives the best advice.
I think alot of it is in your head.

You never know if it is really a choice for a couple or a cross they have to bear, so I never question a persons lack of children.
I think you find other ways to express your need to care for and be cared about, when your childless. You make family out of your friends.
It wouldn't be the be all and end all for me. I could be happy in life if it just didn't happen. But Ideally a family would be nice.

Good woman yourself. Sometimes when things come easy to people, they get lazy.

Animal Farm is one of my favorite books. I must actually give 1984 a go. I just discovered www.bookdepositary.com, I'm like a kiddy in a sweet shop :P
Fantasy, crime and sci fi would be my genres of choice. I havent read anything in an age though.

I've never really gotten into Terry Prachett....do you like?

Ye, people would not stop saying to me how the hell was I still so white :pac: coz even all the germans were all burnt.
Nah, that travelling is pretty sobering although I did manage to hunt out some cider over there in this massive cash n carry type drink place, was pretty crap but still :D
Although their fondness for mixing beer with everything makes it very drinkable, like cola beer.

But I grew up in a completely different world.
Adults had authority then, everyone had a stay at home parent. They were earning your respect with disclipline and time, instead of buying it with "niceness" and euros. You got a smack if you were being a little gob****e.
Well that is how it was for other people anyways. :o I think I was blacklisted by all the local baby sitters at one stage. I was so bad comparatively.
Agreed on all points...it really WAS different for us growing up...I used to fear what my parents could do to me if I stepped too far out of line until I hit 14-15 and treated them as regular adults with respect, as they deserved it.

    What ya reading?
Oh, so a book is more important than us? I see how it is
    What are you reading?
This Book. Have only been waiting on its release for 7-8 months now...part of my favourite series:)

Can't really comment on that. You do sound old though =P (please someone tell me she isn't actually old so I don't offend her! >_<)
She's not old, well 2 months older than I, but no...not old:)
I really can't see what the big deal is, and I'll get the points whether I want to or not. Getting 200 points just for speaking two languages, and I only need a bit over 400 anyway.
That is so cool that you can ace a language exam already before doing anything:P
Hmm maybe I should be a teacher after all, this sounds like me, I'm not that short though...oooh I assumed he would be fired for that, it's why i would never teach them <_<
Sure teaching people how to do stuff would be natural to you I guess:)
I had a hard enough time teaching electronics labs to leaving cert girls when I was in final year in NUIG. heh

Ye Kiss were amazing, I'm ashamed of my snobbery towards them before, there were lots of wires and flying about, I turned away for a second and Gene Simmons had managed to fly across the whole crowd to this platform in the air

Nurnburgring is where rock am ring is i.e. the race track, rock im park is in Nurnberg/Nuremberg, i.e. nazi central, the big Colosseum etc, the festival is on where the nazi party rallies were held, lots of impressive buildings n stuff.
Went around the Dokumentationszentrum Museum today before leaving, was pretty cool.

Ah the toilets were grand, the park reeked of piss today but they have proper showers and hot water etc, all proper organised, there's pretty much always toilet paper in the portaloos too , that would not happen here.

Things got a lot more polite after rage. Thursday was just some german band, then rage in the evening so 60,000 people with not much else to do all day beforehand causes a lot of damage.

Ye people mix them up all the time, on the flight home there were way more people from the ring coz people fly into Frankfurt for both festivals. The ring attracts more people but rock im park is a lot better located, would be hard to go to the ring after being there.

Tale about a boy in Middle-Age England who is apprenticed to the local Spook (the Spook is the guy who deals with local nasties like witches/boggarts/spirits) and to become one you need to be the 7th son of a 7th son, as you are gifted with extra senses like seeing spirits and sensing evil among others...the series is about how his apprenticeship plays out, and what he encounters along the way both good and bad...absolutely loving it so far.

Gotta read Pratchett e boy. Similar thing in it about 7ths sons, makes you a wizard and if the seventh son has another seventh son they become a sorcerer, anyway I digress...

i would say you would like this

Ah good, must have been a good concert then, I rmeember half naked people and poeple searching for shoes at the first metaillica...has anybodeee seeen my shooeeees hehe. I lsot a 100e at it ugh.

I wouldn't think they'd need to ban stuff for them considering most of them wont even cross the road less it's a green man.
7 is 40 now all of a sudden

I don't know why I had it with me, think was raining a bit earlier, was no loss anyway.
Could have done without the gash on my nose though

Good girl yourself then:) Glad to hear Rage pretty much brought it to the crowd. Slayer...doubtful they'll ever get back to the glory days but I guess it would have been fun too!

If only...then you would have uber happy LOS instead of very happy LOS:)

Sounds damn sweet that! The video clips will be pure savage I guess:D

Ye Slayer were good but they didn't put much effort in or something, Muse were on at the same time and I was a bit tempted to leave to catch some of them but then I was waiting for raining blood.

ye can't wait to hear it all back now, usually it's just rock am ring that is taped so should be good.

Efficient law abiding germans eh. germans I know are crazy, good way though. Might be the mandatory military or civil service over there, get em in the army and beat it out of them. Might be a law about them crossing a road there not like here, I hate in some countries where they don't stop for red lights, it's taken as a guide or something...so you have to walk in front of cars to make them stop. hopefully.

Sounds like better rules to me, although never played that.
    Don't knock it until...

    ...ever

Ah sure good to have it for the tent or whatever. I barely even bring a coat on a night out any more, hassle. Sure smegmars was robbed the last night we were out there too, damn dublin.

    Pix :pac:
Ah I'm sure it eh...adds character ehh

wasn't impressed with em when I saw em either, probably just me.They are not my favourite band any more anyway. Still would like to see em again. Deadly about rage having their own day at these things and you get to see them again..I didn't even know it was on or would have went to that instead of lady gaga tix :S

Gotta read Pratchett e boy. Similar thing in it about 7ths sons, makes you a wizard and if the seventh son has another seventh son they become a sorcerer, anyway I digress...

i would say you would like this
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabriel

and perhaps trudi canavans novels...and robin hobb maybe.
Will get on it soon...have Trudi Canavan books already, well ahead of ya there;) That Sabriel sounds good, alot like Trudi Canavan stories:)
Well nothing gets done if the girl doesn't put a space between a and lot. :p
Its all about the space, keep tryin to tell em'!!
Prefer to be the crowd surfer than the kicked one!
Last time I went drinking with the veggies off this forum ended up in temple bar with us and laods of randomers just sitting down in a row and people crowd surfing down us..until they eventually failed when they reached electro and she has pipe arms and would drop them
I remember pics of that night...that was a night where I could only stay a while and left ye in Trinners haven right? And raah got half nekkid n stuff at central bank? Missed fun that night lol! Veggies need another night out soon...

Gash on nose? :( better than a kick in the face I suppose:D I'd kill for a chance to see Muse this year (favourite band and all...)

Raining Blood, the one Slayer song that sounds a bit differe....no wait they ALL sound the same:pac:

A wise French girl told me this while trying to drag me across the road at Temple Bar/Georges St crossing...if in France or anywhere on continental Europe...cars dont stop so run fast:p

Ah yeah it sounded really really good and something for the pure fans, not those that jumped on the bandwagon around xmas time and only ever heard that one song (Killing In The Name)

I bet tho the lady GaGa tix will make up for it lol, and there's Tegan & Sara next week remember:D:D

    oh...enjoy:D

That's the night, govindas first, with electros friend in Doyles, who may not have liked me:pac: He certainly got naked and ran around, I only turned my back for a second!

maybe it's from a kick in the face, pwetty.
Phh you kids thinking my slayer is just noise. hehe

France was where I was thinking about in particular, didn't feel overwhelming safe on the roads there, not even whelmingly I'd said.

yeha my coat was taken months back, passport, money, medical card, social services etc, rewally annoying now. Didn't know where that coat came from..yeah mum, some river island one, crappy eh. ' I bought you that coat before you left:mad:' whoops!

very dancy version there, oh didnt realise they were so close, deadleh! See ya thereeeeeee

Not actually read any of his books yet, need to start buying them I do.

Yes, you should read them! I'm sure you'd love them. I'll lend you a few if you want to read them =]

Wrong :p Eighth son of an eighth son will be a wizard. Eighth son of a wizard will be a sourcerer. ;)

They are crazy but they're sort of a sensible crazy, like part of the campsite is set around a huge lake but there's never any accidents there.

It's like that in Italy, the cars don't stop at zebra crossing, you have to just leg it.
Maybe the autobahn in Germany just makes them scared of crossing the road anywhere :pac:

I have enough of character thanks, ah it's pretty much gone now, my eye feels worse even though it didn't bruise up, woke up with the worst muscle cramp in my leg last night, you know how sometimes you get that in your foot and it wont go away till you put pressure on it, was like that except my whole leg.

They didn't talk to the crowd at all, just stood there and did their thing, was kinda disappointing.

Its as bad as all the minesweeping/swiping of drinks...stupid Dublin:p

I hate that in Dublin  You'd need to order a quadruple here to get some drink in it, they did not skimp on the measures in Germany even at the festival and not a chance of any of your stuff being robbed from camp. Jeezuz it's great to be home :/

Oh hey anothernight, least there's some bad weather for the exams :)
I see they don't have LC english paper 1 and 2 on the same day anymore, the kids these days have it so easy :pac:

shup, I haven't read it in about a decade. Thanks though. :p

Hmm lots of deaths if that was hear, even having water somewhat nearby. Car thing is really annoying cos in some countries there are like 7 lanes and it's a minefield out there! lucky they have an underground dart to take me where I want to go wooo

Might have a bit here or there, speckled. Never got a cramp before, I'll just assume a stitch is one and it is like that. Have to fall out of bed onto it? :-p

Don't like when bands do that too much, even maynard talked a bit, not much but a bit. he did the gig with like his back to us and things. What i like about slipknot was the involvement with the crowd, getting down into us to rile us up etc, I love that.

not...robbed..this is crazy talk! Maameeo never wants a shot, always a measure and when i order it for her they never know wtf it is..when she does...oh anything for you milady
