Meh everyone is old compared to me. Or so they think =P I can't see why anyone would want to go through life without having kids. I adore kids. Not just the looking at their cuteness bit. I don't think a woman should live and die without ever getting the experience of motherhood. Though of course it's up to each person to decide what they want to do with their life so I wouldn't be passing judgement on them.
I know this is gonna make me sound all big headed, but I'm good at learning. So to be honest I'm not too worried about whatever else comes. If I need to study I will. I'm too ambitious to spend years being made to do stuff at school and when I finally get to decide what I want, just slack off and not put in enough effort. Would be a waste after all these years.
Well I'm reading Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett. What do you like? The two books I tend to recommend are 1984 by George Orwell, and Lolita, by Vladimir Nabokov. One for its concept and ideas and the other for its beautiful writing.
Just deep fried some tofu. Yum! I always need junk food when I'm in exam mode =]
No particular interest in kids. Would be interesting to see what my progeny would be like but if I was it also might be better to adopt a child and give them a good upbringing. Perhaps none will do /cross fingers

Was pretty brilliant :eek:
Bands didn't disappoint; rage and rammstein were awesome and volbeat got such a good reception over there and kiss were awesome even though I wasn't that bothered about seeing them before. The weather stayed really good but I'm still the same colour and all the germans were really friendly and excellent english and stuff. Hung out with an irish boardsie and a friend who were going so that was cool.
Weird being back inside and how quite it is now is making me feel a bit deaf.

You never know if it is really a choice for a couple or a cross they have to bear, so I never question a persons lack of children.
I think you find other ways to express your need to care for and be cared about, when your childless. You make family out of your friends.

Animal Farm is one of my favorite books. I must actually give 1984 a go. I just discovered www.bookdepositary.com, I'm like a kiddy in a sweet shop :P
Fantasy, crime and sci fi would be my genres of choice. I havent read anything in an age though.

Agreed on all points...it really WAS different for us growing up...I used to fear what my parents could do to me if I stepped too far out of line until I hit 14-15 and treated them as regular adults with respect, as they deserved it.But I grew up in a completely different world.
Adults had authority then, everyone had a stay at home parent. They were earning your respect with disclipline and time, instead of buying it with "niceness" and euros. You got a smack if you were being a little gob****e.
Well that is how it was for other people anyways.
I think I was blacklisted by all the local baby sitters at one stage. I was so bad comparatively.What ya reading?

Ye Kiss were amazing, I'm ashamed of my snobbery towards them before, there were lots of wires and flying about, I turned away for a second and Gene Simmons had managed to fly across the whole crowd to this platform in the air :eek:
Nurnburgring is where rock am ring is i.e. the race track, rock im park is in Nurnberg/Nuremberg, i.e. nazi central, the big Colosseum etc, the festival is on where the nazi party rallies were held, lots of impressive buildings n stuff.
Went around the Dokumentationszentrum Museum today before leaving, was pretty cool.
Ah the toilets were grand, the park reeked of piss today but they have proper showers and hot water etc, all proper organised, there's pretty much always toilet paper in the portaloos too :eek:, that would not happen here.0 -

wasn't impressed with em when I saw em either, probably just me.They are not my favourite band any more anyway. Still would like to see em again. They are crazy but they're sort of a sensible crazy, like part of the campsite is set around a huge lake but there's never any accidents there.
It's like that in Italy, the cars don't stop at zebra crossing, you have to just leg it.
Maybe the autobahn in Germany just makes them scared of crossing the road anywhere :pac:
I have enough of character thanks, ah it's pretty much gone now, my eye feels worse even though it didn't bruise up, woke up with the worst muscle cramp in my leg last night, you know how sometimes you get that in your foot and it wont go away till you put pressure on it, was like that except my whole leg.

Don't like when bands do that too much, even maynard talked a bit, not much but a bit. he did the gig with like his back to us and things. What i like about slipknot was the involvement with the crowd, getting down into us to rile us up etc, I love that.
