Yes I am. I used to be given loads of freedom. Not so much now, what with going out with someone behind my parents' back. Not nice =(
My sister had a hard time getting the right to go out at night. I on the other hand never even had to ask =] Then again I've always been the good girl (though mum keeps forgetting) and my sister was a monster at 15. Thank God she's growing up. Actually, thank God she's moving out next year ^^

I'm only paying you in food terms so..

Ooh I get you. I only skimmed through everything lol Michael Longley essay is all crap and boring you see.
Maybe facebook just happens to like me more. 75 comments? Really?? Hmmmm...
Would your parents care..you were forbidden or sth but that was by sis. Oh once one child gets to do it they all do really, I was the good one too >_>

So like in my house it used to be boyfriends one side of house, girlfriends on other side of house, it was lol until it changed! gets a bit complicated if 5 of your children have other halves and many want to stay the night, like a puzzle!

Don't think drink was much of a problem..what with dad working for a drinks company back then...here's some money Paul, have a good one. Course, I'm a good boy, see you in a few days, people though I was dead once I think ^_^

Oh but you are moving out too anyway. I'm gone 5 years, so happy about it. Have food, what else you got. Ugh English, what a boring thing to learn in secondary...yes I know all this /sleep now And we got given an essay to write every single class. I wrote the same one so much haha, just tailored it to the title. She said to my mother that I need to see the world more for my imagination, seems limited 'you do know he is handing you the same essay all the time?'

    twas a lot of comments!

Back from playing in the rain (yes I did play soccer in the rain) and it was fun! We went back to my mates house in Lucan and ordered in large pizzas and watched some classic goals dvd:)

All having fun indoors away from the horrible weather outside yes?

Your parents don't know about himself? Or they don't want to know?

This seems to be how parents work.
When they don't kill the first one with their parenting skills, they loosen up on the next ones down the line.

Oh no, my mum was the one who told me I'm absolutely not allowed to see him and is she ever finds out that I am my dad will be brought into this (that is NOT a good thing). I'm reminded nearly every day. The other day she noticed that my jacket smelled like smoke and she didn't even consider the possibility that I might have been smoking, which I don't do btw. It's like cheating on a mother lol Used to be worse though, back when his family couldn't find out either, to protect his brother. *sigh*

The more essays an English teacher gives you, the crappier he/she is. My uber ultra amazing teacher was the type that never gave out if you didn't do her biweekly/monthly essay but you just did it out of respect (and a certain unexplained fear) for that woman. She managed to cover all 8 poets and all 3 modes of comparative, without rushing them, while still having a few weeks to revise stuff. We went through our main text, King Lear, 3 times. She pretty much gave me the A1 I got in English for my mock. I think I might be starting to miss her >_<

Oh he is a bad boy teehee. Odd that she would pick somebody out like that and say not to see them. Smoker too, oh dear. I get the same, I can't be the one smoking, were you hanging around bad people haha. Never got told I can't see people though, more like, you be nice to those people Paul...or don't be mean to the internet people :pac:

Oh she was not a good teacher, she couldn't spell, and marked out words in my essays as mistakes, just because she didn't know them. We didn't go over macBeth more than once, but it was grand, nice little story, had already read it.

You adore your teachers! Although I did love some of mine, got one a communist hat and a t-square signed by the whole class, he was awesome, technical drawing teacher.

Most of my friends smoke and she knows it. Though ofc she'd only know about the legal side of it >_> That's where the difference lies.

I don't adore my teachers. I despised my English teacher all through 5th year. She's the kind of person that you need to see 5 days a week for a whole year and a half to start appreciating. She has the driest sense of humour I've ever heard.
I admit that I did like most of the teachers I had, but only as people. Some were useless. And I still hate my tutor/religion teacher. 6 years in that school and I could never stand her. Though she hated me too so it's alright.

    Mutual hatred...awwwww:)

I had fun times because some (most) of them were pure nuts. We had one who had worn the same suit for nigh on 10yrs, used the sleeves to clear the blackboard instead of the duster on his desk. The alcoholic maths teacher, the angry English teacher who liked to break clocks, the religion teacher who had a nervous breakdown because of our class, and left both the priesthood and the country apparently...oh yeah our French teacher who was bats*it crazy, called the back wall in the class "Pink Floyd" and sent us there for having too much incorrect grammar while trying to learn French:p

    Yeah...fun times:P

:S this does not sound like a nice situation at all.
I hope it isnt stressing you out. :(

You know, great people like that. They stay with you in the life lesson they pass on.
It is good to be able to leave them up on their pedestal too.
My favorite teacher is one of my best friends Dad's, and it turns out this amazing man. Who could instill fear and utter respect, with a sarcastic sweep of a single eyebrow. Is a total kitten who can't exactly remember what an awful pain in the hole teenage me was. Despite wasting an inordinate amount of lung power trying to put manners on me.

Hehe no school is complete without the crazy teachers. :)
Or without the usual rumours about who's going out with who. When I was in first year one of the teachers was a priest, and he was very obviously going out with a teacher >_>

Nah it's grand. It used to be much worse. I'm planning on telling my mum after the LC. It's gonna be scary but really, it's all I can do and after that there's not much she can do either.
Hehe I don't do being stressed out =]

Yeah it's great when you have nice teachers and are friends with them afterwards. Someone to look up to I guess.
Haha awful pain? You???? I've never met you, but I honestly can't imagine that.

We had this midget gym teacher join in 5th year, who used to let us watch father ted instead of doing sports. Yahey!
He was vaguely attractive compared to the rest of the male offerings at hand. There was a severe lack men in my school.
He clearly did alright for himself with the students.
Anyways he took a shine to my friend. Whose parents were teachers in the school.
And decided the best thing to do about it, would be to take her ma aside and ask her where her 16 year old daughter could be found drunk. LOL.

Glad to hear that your taking it in your stride.
You sound like you have your head screwed firmly on, I hope this helps your parents resign themselves to your choice.

    Ah i'm lovely now!
    >_>

I just dont react well to anyone controlling me, especially if there is no logic behind their demands. Half my teachers were refusing to teach me anymore come my leaving cert. :o They had brought the parish priest in to give agnostic me religious tuition.

Kids were probably better behaved back then to be fair.

I see that you've forgotten the reality of your younger days =P Kids are never better behaved back then, it just so happens that adults never remember what 'back then' was really like!

Hehe sounds like you were fun!

Normally I would agree with your comment on sentimentalism.
But I grew up in a completely different world.
Adults had authority then, everyone had a stay at home parent. They were earning your respect with disclipline and time, instead of buying it with "niceness" and euros. You got a smack if you were being a little gob****e.
Well that is how it was for other people anyways. :o I think I was blacklisted by all the local baby sitters at one stage. I was so bad comparatively.

This is why I worry about having kids! If ever the notion takes me. I have such bad payback karma coming my way!

How are you set for these exams anyways? I feel bad soaking up your time with babble. Even if it would aid your mums evil masterplan. ;)

Can't really comment on that. You do sound old though =P (please someone tell me she isn't actually old so I don't offend her! >_<)

Oh, isn't that what mums always say? That we'll see when we have kids of our own... I for one can't wait for that to happen. ^_^ Though ofc when I'm old enough and settled and stuff.

Exams? I'm sort of embarrassed to say that I'm not nervous at all or anything. Embarrassed because it seems like everyone is freaking out! And here I am planning whether I'll go out tomorrow or not >_>
I really can't see what the big deal is, and I'll get the points whether I want to or not. Getting 200 points just for speaking two languages, and I only need a bit over 400 anyway.

Must be hawt stuff in them.

Some teachers are great, I'm sure everybody remembers some awesome ones. All my physics and maths ones were my favourite, and technical drawing. French teacher was a great teacher, you knew because everybody hated her while at school. She made you learn the language all right hehe ah the fear!

Really? I can't quite see why people would want to have babies just yet myself. I mean once they start talking they are a riot!
But the whole having this creature depend on you for every little thing 24/7 scares the bejesus out of me.

You need to keep your head down, to keep things as easy once you get to college. Well for engineering.
Or you need to make friends with heads down types who will let you photocopy their study aids :P

Do you like to read? I'm just getting back into it.
    Got any rec's for me?

No No No. You want to be a lecturer. It is all above board. Well if you were a phd student yourself.
And you get fresh adoring meat every 3 months.

You need to keep your head down, to keep things as easy once you get to college. Well for engineering.
Or you need to make friends with heads down types who will let you photocopy their study aids :P

Do you like to read? I'm just getting back into it.
    Got any rec's for me?

Meh everyone is old compared to me. Or so they think =P

:) I can't see why anyone would want to go through life without having kids. I adore kids. Not just the looking at their cuteness bit. I don't think a woman should live and die without ever getting the experience of motherhood. Though of course it's up to each person to decide what they want to do with their life so I wouldn't be passing judgement on them.

I know this is gonna make me sound all big headed, but I'm good at learning. So to be honest I'm not too worried about whatever else comes. If I need to study I will. I'm too ambitious to spend years being made to do stuff at school and when I finally get to decide what I want, just slack off and not put in enough effort. Would be a waste after all these years.

Well I'm reading Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett. What do you like? The two books I tend to recommend are 1984 by George Orwell, and Lolita, by Vladimir Nabokov. One for its concept and ideas and the other for its beautiful writing.

Just deep fried some tofu. Yum! I always need junk food when I'm in exam mode =]

I missed you :( and my laptop, was tough shutting it down last week.
    Was pretty brilliant  :D
Bands didn't disappoint; rage and rammstein were awesome and volbeat got such a good reception over there and kiss were awesome even though I wasn't that bothered about seeing them before. The weather stayed really good but I'm still the same colour and all the germans were really friendly and excellent english and stuff. Hung out with an irish boardsie and a friend who were going so that was cool.
Weird being back inside and how quite it is now is making me feel a bit deaf.
