Does anybody remember the horrible Uk verson of this show? It was called Brighton Bells, it sucked harder than a dyson hoover.

Well I was sad to learn Rue McClanahan (Blanche) died yesterday of a stroke.

Estelle Getty (Sophia) died in 2008
Beatrice Arthur (Dorothy) died in 2009
Rue McClanahan (Blanche) died in 2010

Betty White (Rose) is actually the oldest of them in real life and the only surviving Golden Girl. Wonder will she die in 2011 lol.

Whilst both shows were complete and utter sh1te, I would like to point out that there's no such thing as a dyson hoover.

There's always the odd occasion where a marriage is made in hell.
