Got Mine

Went to Gamestop in Blanch and asked them if they had any - none available but the nice girl who worked there phoned the Santry Branch for me and they kept one back for me.

Then I asked her for a list of games they would take in for the trade. Of I went to HMV and looked for the cheapest game which was Bionic Commando at €6.98.

Drove to Santry and asked the guy for the Band Hero Bundle that was set aside for me and said I had a game to trade in and handed him €10.

He looked at me like I had two heads and said he had to make a phonecall as he said it was a unbelievable deal and too good to be true (even though he worked there).

He came back and said where did I hear about it and I proudly said BOARDS.IE - he just laughed and handed over the Band Hero Bundle.

€16.98 in Total for Band Hero :eek:

Now that's a BARGAIN.

Are you sure you didnt mix those up. Patrick St and Douglas would take GTA IV from me but wouldnt take Fallout 3

Probably right but GS in Douglas, Patrick St and Merchants Quay all accepted/refused the same games. Unless Ballincollig has an abundance of GTA IV discs.

In other news: I just picked it up - the girl behind the counter laughed in my face when I mentioned the offer - but quickly turned to "damn, I would have bought it if I knew that".
