So let me get this straight,

I have GTA IV ... If I trade that into gamestop and give them €10 I get band hero. Does that include everything with it? Drums, guitar and mic etc? Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealllly good deal if so!

Rang Gamestop Sligo, and they held the last PS3 version they had and I traded Little Big Planet for it (as that's regularly popping up for a tenner online, so might pick it up again but rarely played it as is!).

And I take back what I said about Gamestop staff.. as there was 2 very helpful people there today.

Really liking these drums! Guitar is nice too. Haven't opened the mic, doubt ill ever use it. The game is decent too, doesn't even look like GH!

Hello,had a previous message up but it veered too close to an ad.
There are dj heros and band heros in our shop.
They are available for a tenner when you trade a decent and recent game on the same format.
Be aware that when the peeps in head office get wind of games selling really cheap somewhere else they will be removed from the trade in offer so dont get annoyed-bring a few games so you have back up.One game can be used to get the deal another to pay for it-result.
-thanks for reading this-ring us to hold a band hero or a dj hero but we may not be allowed-the best well hopefully be able to do is hold til 5.30 pm.
please ,please bring a few games in case one doesnt work.

I traded in animal crossing for Wii, You have to trade in a game of the format you want it on eg. 360 game if you want it on 360

I traded in GTA 4 for it on the xbox. Id go in early tomorrow for it, as id say the chances of getting it for xbox are going to be low.

Excellent deal, thanks very much! Just started monitoring this forum last week so was delighted to see this one! Called Gamestop in Blanch earlier and he held the last Wii copy for me. They were actually really sound and let me buy a second-hand game in the shop and trade it in right away. Strangely enough the second-hand game they sold me was Band Hero (game only - € 19.99) and then I instantly exchanged it and paid the balance tenner. End result is I walked in with nothing and walked out with complete Band Hero for € 29.99! Delighted!

My brother got one last Xbox version in Dun Laoghaire trading in some crap game he previously bought for a fiver. But I know someone else who checked another store and they said no way would they allow you buy a second habnd game and trade it right away. So I guess it depends on which shop you go to! I recommend Lego Rock Band to go with the set. Equipment is compatible, it's 20 quid delivered on play.com and it has a great selection of songs for party play!

It's usually about 160 points or €2 in real money. Downloadable songs for the Guitar Hero games is limited compared with over 1100 to choose from for Rockband games :eek:

And they are doing the stand alone guitars (both guitar hero and rock band) for 15 euros.

And they are doing dj hero for a tenner (with trade in) too.

Went to Hmv and picked up baja and bioshock (15 euros each) and traded them in for band in a box and dj hero.
(normal price for band hero, around 180 euros (although game has it as well according to their webpage for around 65; normal price for dj hero, around 120 euros)
Total savings: 180+120-15-15-10-10= 250 euros.
Not bad.

I second this idea, tho I know they change the games on the offers quite regularly.
Generally you need a game which is selling second hand for €15 or more.

Pretty sure you can do that.. at least I'm pretty sure you can buy hardware that let's you play Rock Band using actual drums.
