So, I got a crack in my Windscreen (ARRGGH)

Excess on the Insurance is 250, so with Carglass (Autoglass) in the Netherlands its 450 (inc tax+labour) without insurance.

Volvo Germany are quoting 820 euros incl tax.

and found a place in Duisberg (Germany) that will do it for 229 inc tax and labour

And just for the craic rang a place in Nottingham, 135 pounds all inclusive.

I think i'm going to go with the lad in Duisberg as:
    A. He speaks English.
    B. Found some good reviews on a few german websites
    C. I have a feeling that even though it doesn't affect my NCB they'll get the money back off me somehow ;)
    D. I don't need to buy enough stuff in tesco to warrant a trip over the channel :)

But why the massive difference in cost ?

Do you have any kind of rain sensor (automatic wipers) or heated front screen (not sure if Volvo have these)? Possibly some of the cheaper quotes might not be taking these into account .. just a thought.

Nope, same one (bar the OEM Volvo which apparently is rebranded Saint Gobain) , took the feature spec off the window (No Rainsensor/Light sensor/no Quickclear)
