Cant comment on the dvd, but the book is definitely an interesting read. I dont read putting stuff these days so skipped that bit (a long story), but the chipping,pitching bunker sections can almost be summed up in a page. Or even one line - hinge the wrists on the back swing, dont unhinge, when turning through the ball with the torso.
Good in many respects as it removes the hacker error of trying to flick the chip with his wrists, with the inconsistency, and deceleration that that risks. Differs a little from typical advice, and so changing your habit may be difficult. But I think it is fundamentally sound and if worked on by a newbie, or someone putting in a lot of practice could yield good results. Also explains the rise in interst in high loft clubs for even straight forward chipping - holding the angle effectively delofts the club, so while you have a 60deg wedge in your hand, chipping with it is not a crazy as it might seem - you are converting it to a 50something degree depnding on your action.
