    Getting about 5.4 MB/sec (1.45GB file in about 4 and a half minutes) with the 16GB SanDisk flash drive that I got for €15 in Tescos.

    I was in Roxboro, Limerick today....none left, Arthurs Quay *had* had a few drives yesterday, at the customer service desk....but as now reported seem to be cleaned out.

    Richard did Roxboro have some? I was up there on Wednesday night and there were none in the aisle and I had a look at the customer service desk and saw none (didn't ask though)

    Be aware that all these tests are made by making a sequential read and write operations of a single file. When you use multiple small files, you'll probably get much lower read/write performances.

    Read 30.52 MB/Sec

    Write 8.16 MB/Sec
