putting 2nd cut on top of 1st cut

would their any problems with stripping cover off 1st cut pit silage and putting 2nd cut on top and and recovering it. does the air getting in ruin the top layer of 1st cut. thanks

No no problem at all as long as the first cut has gone into silage (ie don't re-open pit in the first coupld of weeks after covering it). Just build away on top of the first cut and then re-cover

You might see a black layer max thickness 20mm when feeding, thats all. Don't be lazy when covering it the first time, just because you know that you will be taking it all off in a few weeks.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
