Sometime in 2008. Can't remember the date.
Why? Felt like I lost a friend through sheer stupidity.

    11th November 2001.
The hurricane that was 9/11, two months later, caused a butterfly to flap it's wings and then my luck finally ran out...

Edit: Ok fair enough I will tell you what happened on my worst day, somebody very close to me has an illness which I found out is terminal, and they will be dead very soon.

That's the hard thing about life, and unfortunately it's also how life goes, but if this person is very close to you be with them as much as you can.... It's going to be hard for them also and they need as much support as they can get.

Whatever the terminal illness they have try to learn as much about the illness you can from the Doctors team etc, unfortunately you can not stop this death illness. Try to support and be with this person as much as you can..

I know that many people have had really bad days - most of us have gone through days so bad, that it is painful to think about them & even harder to post here on the net.

But let me give you all a few words of comfort - although you may feel that you have already had the worst day of your life, there are many more like that & worse to follow.

    Hope that helps.

Ok thats all good but what about the people bush has inadvertently murdered, he had a choice not to invade Iraq for oil but he did.

2,985 people died in the September 11, 2001, attacks

Documented civilian deaths from violence in Iraq after 9/11: 96,381 – 105,117

A little piece of me died when Michael Jackson popped his moonwalking clogs. :(

I count 2009 as the worst year for me, too much bad shìt was happening to me at the wrong times. Thank fùck that crappy year is confined to the pages of history.

2007 was a utterly craptastic year. Especially Febuary and October in particular. I lost my mind and my dog in one horrible year of abject misery.

My day so far - I'm sitting in Abu Dhabi international airport waiting for a connecting flight, some woman came over to me said something in Arabic, then proceeded to cough in my face (and over my coffee) - my day will not end well....

Is it possible to inadvertantly murder someone? Surely thats manslaughter at most

No offence bonerm, but if that was the worst day of your life, count yourself very lucky!
It was a shock and a tragedy for those involved and all that, but the worst day of your life, when you didn't know anyone involved or anything like that. Come on now!

well this is a rather depressing thread but sometimes i find posting stuff on boards is really therapeutic cos it gets it off your chest. So not to be a misery guts or anything but the worst day of my life was february 11th 2007
Basically the christmas before that my granny had died then two weeks before that my best friend died in a car crash so i was already pretty miserable but on that day to kick me while i'm down i found out my dad had cancer and i failed my leaving cert english mock paper plus my boyfriend broke up with two weeks later cos i moany ( think i had a valid reason although i will accept i wasn't much fun to be around then)
But on the bright side my granny was old and had advanced alzheimers so it was sort of a relief especially cos my dad got sick a few weeks later, my dad is totally fine now and the leaving cert especially the mocks really are not that big of a deal even if at the time you think you're whole life depends on it (i actually got a B in the real thing) so happy days :)

Feb and March 2010. My gf broke up with me, I lost my job and I lost my pants on a random drunken night out. But I got a job and things are much better now. I still haven't gotten over the pants though :D

Tough one, the day we were told mum had cancer and that there was a good chance she would die in surgery the following day or a few months later when my Dad explained to me that in her case treating it didn't mean curing it. Happiest day was when she survived the surgery I reckon. Puts lifes little issues like knob ends at work and mortgages and stuff in perspective.

11 May 1989 for me, but I ripped the doors apart on my way out allegedly! :D I dunno, I was drunk.

My worst day? Pick anywhere during my 14th-16th years of life.
