This is the kinda cheer that goes up when a band realises their idea of gridding up a forest on top of a mountain in the wildes of Wexford to power their amps, recording gear, laptops, and make a music video all comes together.

    :pac:

Fajitas! I really love the light in this shot, and the feeling of elation is wonderful :)

    Thank you :)

It was a bit joyous alright when the power actually worked, they'd been delayed by a few hours pushing a cherry picker up the mountain after near burning the clutch out trying... to find they'd no electricity at the top :-/

The light suited me just fine at that stage though...

Plan to get a shot with my "proper" camera tomorrow, if the weather is nice (was cycling today).

And today was the day I had my 450D and tripod...

The building can be rented out (Runtime error in Opera, but opens okay in IE). I've nothing to do with it, but the link does give more info about the building. It was recently restored from a more shabbier state.

To the middle-right of the above picture is the picture below:

And suddenly I heard a plane overhead, and snapped two shots of it

And suddenly I wanted to be trigger happy, so I went to the local airport, at Weston and clickclickclickclickclickclickclick-clickclick-clickclick-click my camera went

Next time, I'll try to space the shots better, to show a complete landing, with more small gaps and less large ones :D I'll also be shooting more of this when I get a lens of the far away shots

After all the excitement, I sat down, relaxed, and took this one of the Liffey Reservoir:

The round tower at Rattoo, Co. Kerry, it's the only complete tower down this way. I blew out the clouds, but I like the photo anyway =)

It's gone now for a few years again. The yellow is starting to turn brown and seemingly they don't harvest this stuff in the same field for at least three years due to the possibilty of disease! This is the first time i've seen it in the field leading up to the castle.
