    how big was the hole?

really tiny. Used a needle to barely punch through tinfoil which was placed over a body cap with a large hole drilled through

Presuming your pinhole was roughly 40mm from the sensor, the optimal pinhole size is about 0.2 mm according to mrpinhole.com .
Really though, the smaller the format the less suitable for pinhole photography it is. APS and 4/3rds sized sensors aren't the best. To get decent pinhole images you probably want to start with MF film at the very least (or a MF digital back, but that's way beyond the budget of most people :) ). Ideally 4x5 or 8x10 inches. A lot of the bigger pinhole cameras use B&W photopaper to expose a paper negative in the camera which is then either scanned or used to contact print a positive.

Would you mind giving a rundown of how you connected the two, and any other settings?

    I've the 7d myself, and a telescope!

    Great image BTW!

Prob not the place for it but Tír Chonaill ≠ Donegal. Tír Chonaill was a roughly similar area which varied over history. The Irish for Donegal is Dhún na nGall - same amount of letter/sweets though! That concludes the Donegal lesson for the day. ;)

I got a screw T-mount to bayonet EF mount.
Also had to adjust the position of the mirror so I could focus.

was it by any chance on the top of the hill as you drive down towards Keel beach - the semi circular strand - at the end of the road?

I loved how these colours looked together, I couldn't help experimenting with curves to ehance them a little and give them a slightly vintage look!

Some sunset shots tonight up at the airport. The flash on half power off camera to the right, triggered with El Skyport and gelled with a full Tough Plusgreen florescent. Jessica's skin is balanced to the gell to bring the background sky up in this nice deep magenta.
