Remember reading about these (in Retrogamer I think), you get them from the site I presume?

Well from Blurb.com to be exact, although the right-hand panel on GameSpite.net has links to each product page on Blurb.com.

Blub.com is a sort of independant publisher where anyone can make a book and have it professionally published, with Blurb getting their cut along the way. If anyone is going to buy a copy I'd recommend paying in Sterling as the ultimate price you pay is significantly cheaper that way.

Have a whole load of LCD games like that actually, used to love them when I was younger, most of them are crappy generic ones but a few cool ones, will have to dig them out and have a look through them.

    Pics or GTFO :D

I only ever had once when I was a kid, got it from my grandparents for my comunion. Actually it's 20 years old this year. I must put one of those batteries in it and see if it still works.

Just got some Megadrive lovelyness back home. Alien Soldier, Duke Nukem and Golden Axe. Will take a few pictures soon.

Had a quick go of Duke Nukem and it's a lot more impressive seeing it run on a Megadrive than it is playing on an emu.

Resident Evil for the Gamecube. Was looking forward to this after getting a Gamecube off Adverts for a tenner. REmake was a fiver. The guy who sent it to me put it in an envelope and then wrapped it multiple times with very strong tape. I only managed to get the goddamn wrapping off with great difficulty and I ripped the front cover of the box too, kind of pissed off now :/

Why Treasure followed the greatness of Gunstar Heroes with a McDonalds themed game I'll never know. Very odd stuff.

Did you get a PAL copy? Can't say I've ever seen one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,798 ✭✭✭Jack burton

Yeah but its supposed to be a solid platformer so I want to play it.

Its a blue box cover PAL copy, I missed out on a older style black cover box style the other day by a few pounds, pretty niffed at that as I've only ever seen one of them ever on ebay

I've heard it's a good game alright. Never saw a copy before. Thought it was NTSC only. Will have to look out for it as I'm trying to get a complete Megadrive Treasure collection. Just need that and Yu Yu Hakusho: Sunset Fighters (Good luck to me getting that!)..well, also have to trade my NTSC Gunstar Heroes for a PAL one.

Here's a picture of the ones I have so far anyway -

Here's some more pics of the new stuff I've gotten recently.

Duke Nukem 3d Megadrive in all it's odd glory, fresh out of Brazil -
(As far as I can tell, there was no booket released with this game. Just a leaflet..only ever saw 3 copies of the game on ebay in the last few years and none of them had it)

    Alien Soldier, at long last!

    DSC_0095-1.jpg

Also managed to finish off the Golden Axe collection-

    DSC_0101-1.jpg

And just for Ciderman, as I know how much he loves side scrolling beat em ups :pac:

    Nice pics o1s1n,

Have to complete my SOR and GA collections myself.

I just have to say that im after scoping out nice mint copy of Alien Solider and I'm ready to grab it. I'll let ya all know tomorrow.

You know whats funny, the rarity list I have, that i got from digitalpress, says that Alien Solider is R5, which is fairly rare but it then says that McDonalds Treasure Land Adventure is R6 :D and it seems like a pretty accurate PAL list.

I just hope that Treasure Land that i got it on good condition, the seller listed the condition of the manual, car and box as "Sehr gut" and he has 99.9% postive feedback but the picture was just google image of the box art! :s

At least those games are all in the one place, makes it easier to destroy them all in a suspicious fire, Mwa ha ha ha!
More videogame boudoir photography too, next time I'm sure there'll be some lace and soft focus, just to sexify everything that bit more!

My son, nearly 7, is now a WarioWare addict, he loves the DS edition, loves the GBA original and I have, today, allowed him to play my beloved WarioWare Twisted GBA game, and so far so good, man that game is spectacular!
Didn't like the Wii game though, hmm....

Treasure need the money, they've done an awful lot of crappy licensed games to fund the crazier stuff they do.

Really must get my hands on those Gamespite books as well.

These might not be classed a retro items but both characters are pretty old at this stage. I got both of them in the Nintendo World Store in NYC a couple of weeks ago.
