is that Ajax clown you're referring to Suarez? if it is, you have no clue what you're talking about.

jose going to madrid is bad news for clubs like united
they will prob dominate the CL for the next 3 years
SAF has prob won his last one IMO
also, the spectacle last night further emphasised how we fooked up this year
united -v- inter in the final would have been a real event
SAF -v- jose would have had some build up

re transfers, we better not blow cash on that ajax clown we're being linked with
this transfer budget needs to be used wisely, very wisely
we cant afford another summer of klebs, djemba-djemba-djemba, bellion etc

I'm not sure if he'll instantly be a success though, i don't see madrid currently having the players to suit his style of play.

On the transfers, it appears that we are taking our time, buying the right players, not wasting ridiculous amounts on who the fans want.

Judging by some of the comments in the financial situation thread, and here over the last few days, it seems that a lot of people want us to blow millions on some overhyped player, and i haven't even seen any reasonable reasoning given for it.

What was wrong with Djemba-Djemba?

    yes
suarez does not possess the type of class we need
he'd be pretty ineffective at united

    owen > suarez for example

    just my opinion
and i'm well clued in to world football, thank you very much

    Obviously not.

suarez has done nothing yet to suggest he could be a force in the prem for united and at CL level
we dont need another passenger that taps in at the back post when we're two nil up

the owen example is just used to prove a point
owen is a danger in the prem and CL, albeit his flame is dying

until suarez steps up another few levels we better not invest

No. Just have a read back over the last few days, and read all the financial thread.

I laugh when you get Pool supporters on here saying Owen is ****. They will be saying the same thing about Torres when he is still injury prone and playing for city/chelsea in a few years!!:rolleyes:Owen is a good squad player at this stage of his career but stuggled at times last year not due to injury but Fergie not using him enough imo.

The reasoning is we have to prove we still have (Ronaldo) Money to spend irrespective of whether it needs to be spent or not. The published cash reserves of £140 million in the bank in september 09 and the known £75 million transfer funding arrangements is not proof enough that we have money to spend, we have to spend it.

owen isn't ****, he's just distinctly average and very injury prone.

No one said he was siht.

Mr Alan just rightly said that he's not as good as Suarez.

No. Just have a read back over the last few days, and read all the financial thread.

I have been reading this thread, as usual, every day recently and I have read the whole financial thread plenty of times. I disagree with you when you say that "it seems a lot of people want us to blow millions on some over hyped player". I think most people have put forward very good arguments about how the squad needs to be improved. Making vague, generalised and unproven comments about what people on this thread have been saying adds nothing to the discussion. So are you going to back up your claims or not?

    Luis Suarez "That Ajax clown"...

Thats the best boards nickname ever if he does sign. Up there with Dimitar "The Skunk". :D

In all honesty I spat my tea out when I saw that comment, truely awful.

What do you want him to do? Score 100 goals in a season?

he scored 6 goals in his 9 appearances in Europe this season and in his time at Ajax he has averaged 1 in just less than every 2 games at European level. If he has a good world cup he will probably end up going to City and tbh, I would rather not allow them to have a strikeforce of Tevez and Suarez as that is about as good as it gets...

Before anything go back and read your first post. It's the one where you say:

Yeah hopefully he can show good form on the tour and go ahead of berbatov in the forward stakes, im sure he will sooner rather than later.

What two words are in bold here??

You said, you expect him to replace berbatov in the pecking order. Berbatov is our second striker. Despite whether you like him or not. This is fact. Hernandez is not going to replace berbatov any time soon. You're clueless if you think so.

Oh and remember when i asked what you were basing your theories on Meg? That was me asking you what your basis for thinking berbatov was going to be replaced.

LOL at this i suggest you go back and read those posts in context. If you can't figure out that the 'lack of goals this season' quote is a piss take you really shouldn't bother from now on.

I really suggest you research your answers before randomly quoting me again, it makes you look stupid beyond belief.

Ah listen i just accept you are very self minded because you cant accept my opinion which is based on some facts about Berbatov last season where he hasnt exactly set the world alight, so i said sooner rather than later he can be ahead of Berb, like if he impresses in pre season and the start of the league, thats my opinion of what I would like to see happen, why cant you just accept that?? Instead of crapping on about some Mystic Meg, I'm just a supporter here who likes to see us do well and with berbatov well he has missed a bucket load of chances all last season, yes he is skillful and all that but just not doing it at United. I really hope he can get back to where he was with spurs, i remember watching him and thinking he was excellent for them.
Its hilarious that you tell me to go back read my own posts when i told you to do that, if you cant see where im coming from just dont reply to me at all, this is the United Talk/Gossip/Rumours Thread, not a piss take or Idiots thread if it was you would be in your element.

And for your piss take, i kinda figured what you said bout needing more goals is a piss take because thats all you seem to be doing with you comments, taking the piss but then ya go on a separate new line saying you think we need 2 if not 3 more strikers LOL enough said sir, though do keep going your quite amusing to me idiotic beyond belief.

Just came across this Ibrahimovic rules out a move to England because of the weather.

"England doesn't feel close. I don't like rain."

This is one of the reasons why I don't rate him, it just goes to shows you where his priorities lie, and its obviously not football anyway.

    Edit the link: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_6168962,00.html

Also seen this interesting article about another young South American who might be on his way to Old Trafford : http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11667_6167575,00.html

Kind of like when Ronaldo, Messi etc. basically say the same things. Suppose their priorities aren't on football either?

The majority of players from warmer climates say that about England.

Show me proof of where either have said they wouldn't move to a place because of the weather??

I'm going by the Sky Sports Headline where it says he rules out a move to England because of the weather.

What i called you on was simply, you stating that you were sure he was going to replace berbatov, yet have beck this up with nothing other than hoping him to have a good preseason. If you know anything about soccer and SAF you should know it will take alot more than this for him to replace Berbatov who is the second choice striker.

I unlike you, have read and understood all of your posts. You seem to be unable to remember writing some of them and then take mine out of context. Again go back and read the post of mine you quoted in context, this is becoming as idiotic as your sureness of Hernandez being second choice striker.

Good luck now, i hope your exams go well.

What are you basing that on?? you would swear berbatov is fergies son the way you said it, Listen i have backed my opinions about berbatov and the likes, seems like you dont read all my posts before you reply. Your just hilariously foolish and big headed its amazingly funny with the bull you come out with trying to get one over on someone, i know a lot about soccer I wouldnt be so big headed to say you know nothing about it im not that type of person, everyone has an opinion on it, thats why its so good.

Dont worry i dont need luck from a self minded individual like you, your a pathetic hypocrite

Oh your suggesting I have exams, no surprise there you seem like the type of person who presumes a lot of things in life.

I'm basing my opinions on berbatov, that when Rooney is injured/rested Berbatov starts. It's not that difficult a concept to figure out. I have read all your posts and you don't think berbatov is playing well - i have no problem with this. What i do have a problem with is you "being sure" he will be replaced a striker that has not played one minute in the EPL and in not in a good run of form for his country.

Everything i have said in this post is the same as in all my previous dealings with you, and yes i may have gotten a bit smart with you but imo you were not making very conclusive arguments or backing them up well.

How i am a hypocrite in this instance is beyond me, my opinions have been backed up and i've not changed any of them.

I made the exams comment as you've been acting like a child so i'm presuming you would have them at the end of term. And reading your last childish post lets me think no different.

I really don't want to have to reply to you again.
