Hi! I'm going on a language exchange by myself next week to France, and on the aer lingus website it says that additional small things are allowed ie camera, handbag. How small a hand bag are you allowed on top of your 10kg carry on? I have a white satchel I want to bring but I don't want them to say its too big and take it off me? Anybody with more experience travelling then I do know anything about this? This is the bag

Should be fine, as it'll fit underneath the seat in front of you by the looks of it.

Don't worry you won't get stopped with that on Aer Lingus. No way.
