I've occasionally seen posts around the place from who have used the CRO to find out a competitors finance details (turnover atleast), but I've looked and looked and I can't see how they get this information.

Can someone please tell me if this is infact possible, and where I should be looking?

    TIA :)

You can download account details for companies. But most companies claim audit exemption and will have very little details not even turnover.

Where exactly did you look ? What documents do you download ?

    Ah ok.

Well I can find a company/business in the company search no prob, i'm just not sure which documents I should be looking for at that stage under the list of submissions. Or is it the company printout that could give me the info I require?

Its a smart "bean counter" answer - how was the poster to know which one it was - account details or annual return. It's a cheap shot and not at all helpful.

If you want to contribute do - if you want to be smart - there's always the laughter lounge.
