With the building boom and bubble well and truly in the history books is it about time we started building some sort of structure to remember this part of Irelands past?

I was thinking a hugh bubble shape structure made totally out of expensive glass, with glass stairs inside it leading to a big glass slide.

    Its for our children.

    Anyone got any other suggestions?

The slide could represent stock shares from 2008 - 2010

I agree with the dig a 'big hole and keep on digging' idea. That seems to be the theme of our recovery strategy.

It would need to be a large sculpture containing the eye of newt and toe of frog, the wool of bat and tongue of dog, an adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
    and a lizard's leg and howlet's wing.

I like the stairs and big slide idea. Each step could have a year, tax or law we brought in and then the slide has pictures on it of Sean Fitzpatrick and Co giving us the thumbs up from Spain/ America/ anywhere thats not Ireland.

At the very end is a door with NAMA printed on it that opens up to a pit full of broken glass, used syringes and the E-voting machines. Kids will love uit.

You know I really can't wait until the economic crisis goes away and AH starts discussing the more trivial things in life again.
