Entourage Season 7 [Spoilers Within]

With an air date June 27th, season 7 is nearly upon us folks and I for one can't wait. The first preview has been released which doesn't actually show any episode footage but just gives us a gentle reminder of our famous 5. I've just starting watching it from scratch again and this very hour finished S01E01, its pure television gold. I hope to have all 6 seasons watched before next months premiere.

Each to there own i suppose, but i'd put Entourage on a par with a lot of other HBO stuff in that it isn't your typical primetime TV and probably has a smaller but more dedicated fanbase.

My ONLY issue with this show is that it's only 22/24 minutes long. We deserve 44/48 mins like SATC.

Did you know originally we were never to see Vinnie ? It was to be told from his POV.

Anybody else really want to see some of the Movies Vinnie has done ???

nah with the short episodes it makes you want to see the next one even more.

Yeah but the series are too short. Around 12ish episodes should be for an hour long show. Half hour shows should be 24 episodes.

Also, it feels waaaaay too long between series.

The short episodes/seasons actually work in the show's favour imo. I'd like them longer too but you got to admit that the format is working for them.

Can't wait for it to start, no other show gives me such a laugh. Johnny Drama and Ari Gold are two of the best characters I've ever watched. I felt that season 6 was abit 'meh', I wonder what route they'll take with this season, it better not be all smooth sailing for both the Chase's careers, that would just be crap imo

Nice! Looks like some good story-lines coming up.

I'm currently a few episodes into season 4 on my full recap, and its great to reacquaint myself with the gang. Seasons 1 and 2 respectively would still be my high marker however.

Just finished watching season 6 which was a nice return to form after all the doom and gloom of season 5. Really looking forward to this, looks like there'll be a lot of solid character developments.

Have RTE even started showing season 6??

Funnily enough I was checking teletext last week for a program and I saw Entourage was on around 3 in the morning! God knows what series it was, but 3 in the morning is just pointless.

Apparently we're only getting 10 episodes this season. :eek: HBO have been truncating a lot of their shows lately(Big Love, Bored To Death, Hung etc)

Must be trying to save a buck.

Just wondering how you managed to watch season 6? I am getting withdrawal systoms from the show.

RTE are currently showing Season 5 episode 10 at 2.30am on a Saturday.

I've only seen as far as Season 2. Season 1 was great, wasn't quite feeling Season 2. Going to try to get back into this!

IMDB too. Two more seasons though ? it could run out of steam by then. Why not make the movie (18 cert please) in the next break & then bring in a load more fans to the series.

I suppose one hope is that the "hot bitches" remain a constant figure.. but this is Entourage after all and i have no worries of that box going unchecked... However, for me the Sloan/Eric relationship has, to say the least, been grinding my gears! Although don't get me wrong Emmanuelle Chriqui is a slamming hottie! The recent comments from Marky Mark on the shows conclusion (6 final episodes in 2011) would have you believing that from here on in we are going to be seeing Vinnie Chase and his .....entourage coming of age and finaly moving on, as they have all been working towards in recent seasons. Despite the show hurtling towards its finish there is plenty to look forward to... Vince's new pornstar girlfriend Sashs Grey.. Should be interesting! Anyone hear anything else the new season has in store?
