Aer Lingus flight not charged?

    I booked a flight with Aer Lingus last week with no problems, got my confirmation number and email etc as normal. I even know it was applied to my account as I forgot about it and rang Ulster Bank telephone banking querying what the transaction was :o

    I checked my internet banking this morning and the charge is gone... there was always enough in the account to cover it so it's not that. I used my Aer Lingus confirmation number to log in under manage booking this evening and all the details are still there etc... I've tried contacting Aer Lingus but can't get through to them... can anyone shed any light on it?

    It's probably an Ulster Bank thing. I've noticed it happen once or twice. The charges tend to re-appear in a day or two :)

    I had a similar experience. I am a BOI customer and purchased tickets with my laser card for a concert. The money was taken, then it appeared back in my account... and was taken again a few days later
