Ever spent too much time formulating a post?

Just tried to start a thread. Spent a while, as if you're starting a thread, you check your spelling/conscience a little bit more. Posted it and it didn't show up. What a waste of grammar/education/will.

Sorry everyone. Bit ****faced. Me thread did post. It's just that everything else shows up in bold type, so I missed it. Btw apologies for claiming that my original thread was interesting.

    I fail.

I spent about 5 minutes trying to creating a post which went like this:

[About 30 or 40 enters for huge empty space part in my post]

    Then post: Yes.

After doing that, my post was automatically shortened, then I decided to whip out the [*COLOR=white] which worked first time. After I made about 20 lines of that, I messed up on a bracket, so I deleted the post.

    :(

How is that FYP? It makes no sense that way. The original was fine, if you read it with the correct punctuation.

Should mean something more like this:
"as if you're starting a thread, you pay more attention."

I must be missing something.

Then please point out the humour, as I'm afraid I've missed it..

I edited a post on grammar. Fact is, either way makes sense. Now stop embarrassing yourself. ;)

Heh mate. Thanks for the back-up. I've been thanking posts indiscriminately, as I assumed I was wrong. Good to talk again. I used to be InAllFairness 'til I lost my password. Can you invite me as a friend? I don't know how to do it and I look silly with no friends and no visitor messages:o.
Otherwise I'll have to hassle young Tom.

    Eh?
    What?

Gone in to chat mode in 2.4 seconds

I type away, and big mistakes I'll go back and edit later. Mini mistakes get fixed sometimes.
    My posts are rarely perfect.

I have no idea what this thread is about!
But as for the grammar, liah is right, the "correction" makes no sense whatsoever!

Nothing worse than coming up with a witty, grammatically correct retort, spending a few minutes perfecting it then posting to find some fiend has beat you to it :( That makes me a sad panda.
