Unexplainable events?

    This is more of an addendum to the the biggest fright thread below but i just wanted to throw this out to AHer's. Have any people here ever experienced something odd or unexplainable?

    Im not saying you have to believe in ghosts or aliens or anything mad but ive heard stories of strange occurrences from people before who would otherwise be the most truthful and down to earth people you could meet.

    Does anybody here have something thats happened to them that they just cant rationalise?

    Waking up every single morning with a hardon even though my dreams are non sexual... WTF is that about? If somebody wakes me up by knocking on the door, I gotta wait a little.


    Honestly? Plenty of things happen on a daily basis that our minds simply cannot comprehend. We try to rationalise them in order to put our minds at ease, well kinda (ghosts etc etc).

    Once when I was just on my couch my grandmothers smell just appeared..she passed on two years previouse : /

    For the funnys,a friend of minewas in New York at the statue of liberty and spotted another friend of ours in the que next to him :p

    Acoustic guitar feet away from me on the couch, nobody near it, nothing but the couch beneath it touching it, the 6th string rings out loud, clear and cleanly.

    Unexplainable event.

    Actually something like that happened to me. I was in the middle of Peru in a small bar and heard someone calling my name, turned out to be a friend from school who i hadnt seen in years. Mad coincidence.

    I got the same thing in Tenerife, from a girl I went to secondary school with during the summer after first year.

    well I did have a strange one about 3 years ago. I was relaxing most of the day and listning to nice music through the night. I think i had 2 beers at about 2AM and fell asleep. I woke up all of a sudden a while later but i couldn't move and i heard a loud electrical buzzing noise around my head, then something grabbed my hand it was definately a hand that grabbed my hand at that stage i panacked and pulled back but when this all happened i was awake but i couldn't move. so i don't know what it was but i do know one thing, I wasn't asleep and i wasnt dreaming, I was awake but i couldn't move but I can tell you something grabbed my hand and was pulling on it for a minute I know that for sure but i can't explain it. just one of those things that can't be explained.

    Google it. Comes with visions and feelings of usually pretty scary stuff and nine times out of ten you can't move, scream, talk, do anything. But it's all just in your head, and it happens to a lot of people.

    I had a fourteen foot fall one time onto concrete and I got up and was fine. Couldn't explain that one especially seeing as when i tie mmy laces my back can hurt

    Though maybe thats why

    In other words, the simplest explanation is more likely to be the right one, at least in this scenario. Sleep Paralysis: 1, Aliens: 0.

    Has happened to myself several times,usually brought on by stress and this realy dosent help it :(.

    AT one stage it happened so Often I got used to it heh.The first few times It happened the power also went out so as soon as I could move the light nnot coming on freaked the **** out of me :o

    I'm a pretty rational thinker and don't believe in Ghosts, Goblins or Midgets!

    But for years i've been getting "Grabbed" on the shoulder by... well, nothing! It's like someone is behind me and has just nabbed me for shoplifting, i get grabbed by a really hard grip of a hand, but there's never anyone there.

    It happens about once every 3-4 months and has been happening since i'm about 13.

    It's probably some sort of nerve problem, but i've never thought about asking a doctor. So until now........ it's unexplained :D

    LOL. well that was a good one raped by an alien. no all i can say to the above poster is, i know sleep paralysis i have had it hundreads of times but science disregards this problem. at the end of the day that's what scientists are there for. to explain the unexplained so imo they are not doing their job. all i know is i had a few strange one's. but what gets me is the fact that i'm awake and i can clearly see my suroundings but can't move and a feeling of severe fear also comes over you as if you are going to be ended. i just wish scientists would get deeper into this as everyone i know has this now and again and i have heard them explain their experiences to me. it's definatly a curiousity cause i'm lost on it. how can you be awake fully and have something pull your hand hard and you know it is a hand that is doing it ? anyway always looking for the answer to these strange experiences but unfortunatly no one has answers all they have is ridicule.
