If you were the guy in the leather jacket you should have been banned for crimes against fashion.

To keep on topic, I did lose my wallet on a bus before...the number 2 at that! Which goes through Cork and Knocknaheeny! Caught it later in the day when it passed through again and it was still there! :D Awesome!

I lost my iPhone on a night out a few months ago - I'm still grieving.
I got it on an upgrade, so to buy a new one would cost me €500.
To make matters worse, when I called the phone (albeit at 3am) to plead for its return, some weirdo was heavy breathing down the phone.

    €500.

But surely, iPhones, being so brilliant & all that, would have an app for finding their way home when you lose them?

You are quite right they are brilliant, and there is an app to locate lost phones, 'mobile me' I think it's called, which locates the phones using its GPS, but brains mahoney here hadn't downloaded it. Didn't have insurance either. Not a happy bunny.

Heh, worst thing I ever lost was a pair of Bart Simpson underwear in Claremorris swimming pool yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeears ago.

And, most recently, headphones for my LG phone...........actually that was a bit of a bitch considering it was my only form of an MP3 player.

Other than that nothing expensive or worth getting in a fuss over :pac:

Twice I've left my phone on the bus, didn't get it back either time. Was yours handed in or still where you left it?

Don't you just hate when you lose your phone though and utter panic sets it when you think oh feck what did I have on there.

I've never really lost anything big as I try to take good care of my stuff. Did lose my ipod a few years ago though. Was a white 4gb 1st gen nano in an orange cover (Just incase anyone found it :P) Lashing rain in town and I was running for the luas. Only had it around my neck with those stupid earphones. Must have fallen out between Georges st and Grafton st via Exchequer street. A shame as I still have the box and receipt for it from 2005 (I think).

Ok - I haven't bothered reading this thread at all but I have to say one minor thing Feeky....

.... WHY THE HELL DID YOU THINK IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO HAVE A LIE DOWN IN THE PARK???????

Lost my phone on the bus but someone picked it up and rang my mate who was beside me...weird how he picked that number from all the ones in the phone.

Lost my ipod touch in canada the day before flying home :( was a long journey home from calgary with no music. Oh sorry...did I say lost? I meant some prick stoner aussie stole it out of my rucksack.

For any money I've lost I reckon I've found equal or thereabouts amount. *Shrug.
