Im planning to live in the UK soon, but when I return back here to visit family. How long can I drive a UK car here for!

As long as you are resident in the UK then you can drive it for as long as you like. You might run into problems with your UK insurance company if you go over the 3 month mark (or 90 days depending on their rules).

Always carry proof of UK address and proof of return ferry as the revenue / customs will NOT believe you.

The O'Irish accent and Irish license will raise a few eyebrows.

Get a UK licence. Driving around with an official document with an address on it does kind of give rise to a reasonable question as to whether you live there.
