so I started using my ipod touch(1st gen) again recently and all was well....

I was using it to stream internet radio through my zeppelin and play lossless files as an ipod too....

then it all of a sudden lost it's ability to find wifi, no matter what I did including full reset, soft reboot, factory reset, software update it couldn't find any wireless networks, then the battery went, it will lose full charge even with wifi and bluetooth switched off and screen locked in about three hours....

has anyone managed to solve this issue... or had experience of it....

can I replace the battery or is it uneconomical....???

    cheers

    J

Search the forums dude, there's lots and lots of posts about iPod/iPhone battery issues and ways of sorting them.

I searched for ipod touch battery issues and all I found was advice for people with new ipods to bring them back to the retailer...

is there a battery replacement sticky anywhere... I couldn't find one....

I was given advise to download the Battery Doctor in the app store to sort my battery problems (admittedly, it's an iPhone) it made a huge difference when I ran it following their instructions.
