Ugh today was a hard examerino, worst to come!

    who when where how compadre

Yeah it was all kittens and hay for me growing up. Never had this technology lark til quite later...I still have my first phone...for 8 or nine years...ne day I'll get another :p

You deserved those hits so, I'd hit you, those marks are sacred. My bad thing was laughing at priests believing in stupid things in primary school, I was the only one ever put in the black book, I started a tradition :D
    I just couldnt stop laughing
Still, you stepped on the lines.

Do you like xkcd, they made a lovely command line one for april fools day that you can still use, I like it.

    wasn't multiple choice then?!
I am actually surprised by the phone thing! I had my first phone for years till someone threw it away so I have a new one the last while which is equally brickish.
you hit me, I hit you back arghhh.
xkcd is cool, can't think of what you're talking about, have to look it up, brightly wound is good too, yer man is really lazy updating it sometimes though.

Well you can choose to answer the really hard questions or you can choose to fail. Next exam is two subjects in one, haaaaaaaaate them. Twice as much work. Threw it away? i'd be murderous, I love my 3510i, it's my child. It's been with em as long as I can remember!(having a phone that is). It fell off a rollercoaster and still works, threw it at a wall, fell in a puddle and went off, then I jsut turned it on and it worked...next time it fell in a puddle it didnt even go off. :D<3 bricks!

No you wouldn't, because I would like it, that generally deters people, not electrobitch though, my housemate gets confused with her arm hovering...what to do!? :p

well only interesting if you use linux I guess.

I like that comic, I love grammar :o but it's what I read only when I am bored of my precious xkcd, fanboi.

Oooh Grandmaster Cash at Indiependence? Might actually go :p

After that I know one song by Jape and one song by Duke Special and a chorus of a Coronas song. So overall, I'll know... around 4 and a half songs.

I don't like the cut of Dickinson's jib :pac:

and I've seen them a million times before, and it's too much hassle, and I'm too old and lazy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,028 ✭✭✭✭--LOS--

jib?. Ah Brucie is great, this could be their last album/tour :(.
You could always get a seat, I'll mind your walking stick for ya :p I've only seen them twice, I couldn't be sick of them yet.

the cut of his jib :D

I'll probably see them at a festival somewhere anyway if I ever make up my mind where to go this year

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,028 ✭✭✭✭--LOS--

haha, I didn't initially read it in a posh accent, I'll hear it right next time. They're such tour whores. I'm going to rock im park in Germany for Rammstein mainly. Hopefully the ash cloud will know better than to annoy me ruining my plans

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,445 ✭✭✭Absurdum

I went to Rock Im Park around 98 or 99, can't quite remember...good times. Hoping to go to Hellfest this year

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,028 ✭✭✭✭--LOS--

really? It's the 15 year anniversary for RIP this year and 25 year for RAR so there's a whole extra day, yay!
I was only there before in 2008, liked it and kinda lazy about picking a different festival to go to. Hated Download.
Hellfest looks cool, kinda oldskool, I would love to catch Deftones, is yer man from that still in a coma or what

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,445 ✭✭✭Absurdum

I think he is yeah, bummer. Never been to Download myself, I think you need to go a little further away to get a good atmosphere at a festival....Germany, Belgium, France are good for that. I keep seeing ads about some festival in Ibiza which could be interesting, maybe next year if it's on.

Ah they did a live webcast of Diamond Eyes last night, missed it, still available here.
Not a good atmosphere at Download, would probably be fine if you were going in a big group and you could ignore everyone else there :p but such a big difference elsewhere.
I'll have to check out somewhere different next year.

ugh I nearly walked into the cats sick this morning, that's the thanks I get for coming home to visit her.

Woah, 4 weeks is pretty terrible. No remedies I can think of, but maybe taking the time to read or something might help.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,028 ✭✭✭✭--LOS--

The lady doth protest too much, and now look what happened to daddy.

I didn't know of eeebuntu, best name ever, so engineeringly nerdy, mmm.
Just take your windows stuff off and live cd it, it's very easy and only takes like 20 mins to install. Alhtough eeebuntu is probbaly on those little eee yokes so you have no cd thing, usb!

I had Ubuntu until a friend accidentally uninstalled it, and all my projects, good times.

Aw hope you are feeling a bit better. I thought it was odd when I was leaving that the thing was in front of the door and your bedroom door was closed! Much relaxing in bed needed and soup, I'm finished ina few days to make you soup if you still need it :p

All well so far, funny that I have to e-tell you. :D
I still didn't get a chance to eat the food you left, damn examers. 2 to go 2 to go!!!!!!!!!!!!ahhhhhhhhh

I guess the standard "irish mammy" cure of chicken soup isn't an option. might try orange juice by the barrelful and watch something to make you feel better a comedy or the such. science has proved people who feel good get over infections quicker.

little eee what! I have a little eee, it's 10inch though so everything runs the same on it as anything bigger, no cd drive but could get an external one. If I use any other computer I find it huuuuge. You make it sound so easy but I'd have to set it up so that there's no partition, ah it doesn't bother me enough yet to look into it. Anytime I go near the windows side everything crashes over there, it is pointless having it take up the space. Oh nice friend!

+1 for what smegmar said maameeo, watch this, was recommended somewhere else on boards, I like it.

Poor maameeo, hope you're feeling better soon :(
