You can make a ginger infusion: shave off a few pieces of ginger, steep in boiling water for a couple of minutes, sweeten if you want. It's great for sore throats =] (and headaches, migraines and menstrual pain)
Though in my opinion it's nicer if you put the ginger in some camomile tea.

haha! Ah I'm not opposed to them, just never had stuff like that growing up, I used a barrel and a plank of wood for a seesaw for christs sakes :pac:
And now I just couldn't be bothered, it's like when you listen to some artist with a huge back catalogue for the first time and you think ugh couldn't be bothered. Do you not just find it hugely stressful? Off outside with ye.

Working all summer while living with parents ftw I knew it'd be worth it eventually lol
We're planning on going for 2 weeks, though I'd very much prefer 3 but I'm not sure if my friends can do it. We absolutely must go to Amsterdam and Berlin, the first because I'm meeting someone there, and the second because my friend says so, pretty much.

Since both of my friends are actually from Madrid, I'm not even sure yet where I'll be landing first!

Sure I am from sligo countryside, a barrel and plank see saw were the biz! We also made a tennis court out of similar things in our garden. Those were the times. No phones or internet for us heh.
Ah but gamescan jsut be standalone fun, well maybe you might be tempted if you really like it, I am certainly lazy with new music though.

In the end I'm taking a flight to Madrid, then a few days later another to Paris. Then apparently Bruges, Amsterdam, Berlin, something in the middle, Krakow and back to Dublin.
Ugh really need a proper night out though >_<

A very good friend of mine is doing the inter-railing thing this summer too, she would LOOOOOVE to tour India but is gonna do Italy, Spain, France, and somewhere else before stopping off in Wales to see a mutual friend before coming home:)

We had to have been the last people to get a phone but there was a phone box down the road and this was the middle of nowhere, weird.
When people say well what did we all do before mobile phones, I say wait hours in agony wondering when a certain family member is gona turn up to the car with the car keys :mad:

Which is why I mentioned computers (real, modern computers like... Steve Wozniak might be one of those people I really want to meet, but the Apple II is barely a computer by today's standards). Was gonna mention the internet but I'm old enough to not have grown up with it >_<

i had nowhere to go but the countryside so I played hide in seek in hay before phones is my answer
