Thinking of putting a wetroom in a small enough double room. What are the minimum dimensions i would be looking at? Was thinking of an ensuite, but I thought the wetroom could me made smaller as there is no shower tray... Any ideas appreciated!

I would be of the view that there wont be any saving really space wise without putting the toilet or sink too near the shower , a small shower tray is 800 by 800 as far as i remember , so if you mark that out on the floor are you really going to be able to tile with the necessary falls etc smaller than that , ? i wouldnt think so unless you were able to create a cubicle effect where the wet room has 3 walls and a shower door.

Thanks outkast... I see what you mean. I just thought that I might get it into a 700 wide space or something when there would be no shower door or tray... I am trying to save space for a built in wardrobe beside it!

ya i understand your trying to save space but with a wetroom in such a tight space i have images of turning on the shower and soaking the toilet or sink every time you shower :D,
I presume its downstairs you want the wetroom , 700 is fairly tight for a shower area i know if you have no choice its better than nothing , best bet really is to mark it all out with tape and a pencil , like make out toilet bowl and cistern , mark out sink position and then see what you have left and is it feasible to have a wet room there.
On the continent i have been in wet rooms that were small and all the tiles on the floor in the room had to be sloped to the drain as there was no curtain or glass panel , its not attractive washing yourself in the shower and soaking half the room in the process.

A simple solution to a small wetroom is use a ceiling mounted rose and that way the water does not go near the toilet.

The smallest wet room I see around is usually around 1 meter.
