Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Humphrey Bogart walks into a bar. He's feeling a little seasick and travel weary. What drink does he order?

    G&T
Gin, cos of "Rick's Café Américain" the gin joint made famous in the film Casablanca, and tonic because a tonic is a curative.
But mostly because I have a craving for a G&T.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Early 1940's would be another clue.

Some might say that the drink he ordered contained all of the important BGRH food groups. ;)

    A martini?

I remember it being mentioned in a book as a cure for seasickness.
I don't see it working tbh.

I never said it was a cure for seasickness :)

    We have a winner!

Bogey, as his mates in the pub used to call him, is credited with being one of the celebs who spread the word of this certain drink invented in Foynes Airport (aka, the river Shannon at the time).
The passengers, having flown transatlantic on PAN-AM's famous flying clippers and ferried ashore, were welcomed with a hot drink of coffee, cream and Irish whiskey.

The floor is yours brother trout :)

    Edit:

Just to qualify this hint: The important food groups I was referring to were caffene, sugar, fat and alcohol. :D

    OK ... here's my question, it's a two-parter, and google won't help anyone here.

How many favourites have I stored in my browser, and what browser do I use?

Nope ... think sneakier than that

Dunno about those fruit based browsers..

You're obviously using a useragent mask to pose as a different browser if the pic I linked was inaccurate. Throwing your forum into the mix would lead to safari on a some sort of I-thing?

    After that, I'm stumped.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,945 ✭✭✭trout

    Not Safari either.

Some sneaky browsers masquerade as other sneaky browsers, so that sneaky bots and malware get all confused, and also for reasons of general underhanded sneakiness.

Think two words ... Fire and Fox aren't involved.
