Money refunded on Amazon

I bought something from an Amazon seller and got email confirmations of both the order and the shipping. However when I checked my online banking the money had been returned to my account....does this mean I get a freebie or am I likely to get a cancelled order email? I first realised the money was back yesterday…

Well I got the item this morning thankfully but then checked my online banking and the charge was back! I didn't know this was possible. So it appeared, went away and then came back again. Crazy.
