For the benefit of the culinarily uneducated amongst us (that is people not from Ireland's First City ;) ) a Bla is a type of white French bread that is unique to Waterford. The name is believed to be a corruption of the French word 'blanc' due to the covering of white flour. It apparently was introduced in Norman times and the typical Irish bread at that time was brown. Another Norman influence around here is the way that the letter 'R' is pronounced. Though due to the Viking influence, telling a dumb blond joke around here can be dangerous. :)

    Regards...jmcc

    Golf Balls - Joke
A man entered a bus with both of his front pockets full of golf balls, and sat down in the first available seat next to, of all people, a beautiful blonde. The blonde kept looking quizzically at him and his bulging pockets. Finally, after many such glances from her, he said, "It's golf balls". Never-the-less, the blonde continued to look at him thought-fully and finally, not being able to contain her curiosity any longer, asked, "Does it
hurt as much as tennis elbow?"

Is their Bakery moved now that "Baker Street" is there instead?
