I finally picked out the laptop that Im going with.
    Asus K72F-TY011V Core i3 Laptop

    • Screen size - 17.3 in - 1600 x 900
    • Processor - Intel Core i3 I3-350M - 2.26 GHz
    • RAM - 4 GB
    • Hard Drive - 500 GB
    • Operating System - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Edition
    • Optical Drive - DVD±RW (±R DL) / DVD-RAM
    • Graphics - Intel HD Graphics
    • Webcam - Integrated
    • Warranty - 2 years warranty
Its €645.70 with laptops direct and €703.00 with Elara.

Elara seem to be more expensive on extended warrenty, windows office and dont offer much else.

Laptops direct are cheaper and offer more products but I have read about their bad reputation.

Im so frustrated. Now I buying know why I put off buying a laptop for long!

    AAAARRRRHHHHH!!!!!!!!

    PLEASE HELP!!!!!!:confused::confused::confused:

    Two much choice. :)

For my 2c. I've ordered from both for work and have had no problems with delivery. Actually just ordered a laptop from laptopsdirect last Friday and it arrived in my work address yesterday.

I haven't had problems with any laptops I've bought from either so haven't dealt with eithers support.

If you're worried Elara have a presence in Ireland so if something goes wrong you can knock on their door.

I've had problems with laptopsdirect in the past, and if you search the forum for laptopsdirect.ie you'll see that im not the only one. That being said i've heard of people having some trouble with elara too, but not to the same extent. And the benefit of Elara is that they are based in Ireland.
