Looking for some advice. I got an email from a "leading online advertising broker" looking to advertise on my small club site. http://www.limericksubaqua.com

Do you think its legit and if so, what should I be asking for a rate? Our costs are minimal, but it wouldnt be a bad thing to sell advertising as far as I can see. Fixed Annual fee is what they requested, via paypal.

Any advice much appreciated.

I'm thinking Google Ads? Also, what ads are they going to put on your webpage? You don't exactly want R rated sh|t being advertised.

Linkstar is the name of the company. It just says, text based advert. I hadnt thought of the p0rn option! See, thats why I posted here...

Read those. Looks like total scumbags, who'd get your site into disrepute.

Thanks lads. I have to admit was very tempted to reply as raising money for the club is very difficult - would have been a handy way to get money without any effort. Glad I asked first. I got the site to number one/first page for several search terms on google in a very short space of time, dont want to jeopardize that.

I think if the request is legit, then there are no issues with your ranking if you display their ads. I would email them and wait for a reply outlining what they are willing to pay.
