    Hi all, and thanks to the mods for agreeing to my posting here. :)

    In case you're wondering, some of you might also know me as smashey ;)

    We’ll be giving away a €100 Brown Thomas voucher to a lucky Adverts.ie user in May. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning this competition is to look into your wardrobe, take out all the handbags you’re not using, and put them up for sale on Adverts.ie!

    I'm sure Mrs.Goat wouldn't mind me giving away her HERMES Blue Jean Epsom Birkin. Won't she be surprised and delighted at how much storage space I've managed to crate for her. :rolleyes:

    I've never understood the facination for bags myself. I can see why €600 on a pair of Louboutins might be vaguely justifable but I can't even come close to fathoming pricetags of €thousands on even lower end designer bags.

    One canvas sportskit bag circa 1978 still containing one MUFC sports sock.
    CarryStrap damaged but workable.
    Zip broken.
    Bag inscribed (with red, black and blue Biro inks) with various punk rock slogans, prog rock band names and a skull and the occasional profanity. €127.22 ONO.

    In a thinly valed thread bump:
    How many handbags do you currently own? Mrs.Goat has a paltry 5 (that I can recollect) and two of those are clutches rather then handbags. Would that be deemed as a low or very low count?

    I have loads :o Not that I use them all mind! I have a HUGE Marc Jacbos tote for lugging my laptop/notes/diary/books around in for college, and then a shoulder bag from Urban Outfitters for day to day. After that, a few wee bags for nights out. One of the best has to be a massive fire engine red Hello Kitty back pack.

    I have 3 bags. One black, one brown and one navy.

    According to Eddie that is too few and I should have a white one (*shudder*) and a pink one. Therefore I think the voucher should be given to me because I am clearly deprived.

    It all depends what you are wearing. Dunnes have a rather fetching shade of green on their bags while Tesco have a shocking blue. Moving north now and Asda have a nice green while Sainsburys have a lovely orange colour on theirs. There you go Janey, all your major outfits perfectly coordinated.
