Rural cycling holiday in ireland for kids, where to go?

I wouldn't mind bringing the kids (7-10) for a cycling holiday somewhere flattish and safe for kids to cycle. Is there anywhere like this in Ireland? Ideally routes that aren't shared with cars most of the way. Nice landscape and camp or b&b on the way. A few hills are OK.

Anywhere on the Beara peninsula or West Cork around Gougane Barra. Rolling. Two large hills. But mostly flat.

I cycle there often and am continually amazed at the lack of car traffic. Roads are also of surprisingly high quality also.

Clare would have been ideal, but too much car traffic.
Ring of Kerry has way too many buses, but I would recommend the Skelligs. Small roads, off the main Ring of Kerry route and few cars.

Hi dynamick, I would advise looking out for some of the charity or organized cycles that take place all over the country. Some have a family friendly course that is <10km.

The 'tour de burren' for example have a family cycle option of 10km.

The last few times I have been in France (ferry so it's accessible-ish) & gone cycling I have been amazed. No hedges (=lots of visibility) + quiet roads + tolerant motorists + (if you drive south of the Loire) ver-ry flat.
Which is nothing to do with the actual question.
