Note that the 1600mAh batteries by Seidio for the N1/Desire actually clock in at a lower capacity than the stock 1400mAh from HTC.

Seidio was rated at 1314mAh, stock battery at 1357mAh

Think I'll be cancelling my order at expansys...

Too much info. What's the best battery for a desire?

The one that came with the phone.

It's only rated at 1400mAh but it operates at almost full capacity.

The third party batteries are lower quality and work at about 85% or less of their stated capacity.

So a 1600mAh battery from Seidio or Mugen actually has less capacity than the 1400mAh battery that came with your phone.

So if you want a good quality extended battery, wait for HTC to release one.
