sky hd box (single feed)

hi guys, hoping someone can help. recently moved home and brought my sky hd box with me. we only have one line feed going into the back of the hd box ( i know i wont have record & view another channel feature) when i power the receiver up i get the channel listings but an error on screen "no signal received". i then change the cable to the other cable socket feed
on the back of the box and i can view channels. however i have to keep doing this if i plug the box out of the wall! simple fix is keep box on 24/7 but would rather not do this! any ideas?

Try setting it up in single feed mode :- http://www.sky.com/portal/site/skycom/skyhelpcentre/producthelp?articleId=5370110 .

Ultimatly if you can try add the second line, it's the best option. I'm not sure of your home/apartment circumstances but you can replace your single feed LNB with a quad LNB on you dish and then run a second line fairly cheap.

Let me know how the single feed setup above works out

cheers for quick reply, i googled this to try find some info, thanks for your link my sky hd box does not have the single feed option! i presume ill have to run a software update but am a bit reluctant incase it wont update properly?

scratch that! i have managed to see that hidden menu now, was just press 0,1 never copt the select key! doh
