Still no letter, just a lovely bill! Would love to know the pass mark tho, I'm hoping its roughly the same as last year.

Reading through all these posts, it really is the strangest process! Sense would tell you that the earlier you applied, the lower your UID, and the earlier you sat your IST...I applied within the 1st week if I remember correctly, my UID is late 4000's and yet I only sat my IST on the 24th March, yet there's plenty on here with much higher UID who sat theirs right at the beggining of March. For such an important and massive recruiment drive it really does work in mysterious ways!

And either we've a very smart boardie group this year, or all the fails have hidden! Should I fail, i'll be telling ya's! (and then i'll hide) :D

did mine on the 24th too, havent got anything yet! havent checked post 2day! hopefully wel get something soon!:D

Are you in the south Manutdmad?

Well folks, just got home to a lovely PASS letter :D Needless to say am delighted as this was my second time trying!

For those of you still waiting, letters seem to be coming out roughly based on IST date. I was mid march if that helps other people to reference.

A/C seems miles off at moment, though I'm sure it will fly in. Its generally only the waiting for results that drags

Best of luck to all still waiting on results, for those that failed DONT GIVE UP!!! Most people dont make it first time, just keep trying!

I know its the worst when your in work all day and just wondering is there something waiting or not. I was close to driving an hour home on my lunch to check and I wouldnt mind I was grand until I found out that some people had got theirs! Funny how the mind works! lol

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 159 ✭✭fefe5

It totally is, once you see people getting results its natural to get nervous!

I'm from the North mate... Have not heard of anyone from the South getting their post yet. Hopefully they dont have to wait too long for it though. I phoned Deloitte earlier in week and they were expecting most letters to be going out this week. So most people should know by start of next week! Least, one thinks that would be the plan.

You still waiting I take it?

Yeah still waiting you'd think they would just send them all at once instead of the stressing! Only thing is if we get a pass it will all be worth it!;)

I hope you hear tomorrow also Pink Britney, I know the horrible feeling of waiting. Dont think the posties would be too happy if all 9500 letters were sent on the same day LOL! I do think letters have been going out based on when you sat the IST.

When did you sit the IST? and are you north or south?

Aww hard luck Agito :( (and everyone else ofc) I'll be very suprised if I pass, but I suppose there is still hope.. letter better be here tomorrow or I will explode!

Btw, for beca's wee list :P, my colleague 'alabama2010' informed me that she passed..

Got my pass letter today, sat the IST towards the end of March.

This is my third time in, pass the IST every time, it's just the A/C I can't get past.

Well done pal, good luck for AC, hopefully some more of us will be joining you on that journey!

I think it's clear now that deloitte actually have no clear system of posting these letters out.. it's actually just name in a hat type of stuff.. cuz if you got your letter and you did yours near end of March while some of us who did it earlier are still waiting... and the UID number thing has been proved false.. and pass AND fail letters have been received... so god knows.. just hurry up with mine dammit!

Ah im disappointed Rentacop, i was hoping me and you could battle it out at the A/C instead of on here :p
I failed too, by 3 marks, as did my friend. Ah well, it was only my first time trying, i'll be back next year.

Yay! Letter came today and I passed!! Feels sooo good just to get through to the AC, I can't imagine what I would be like if I ever did get "the call" :D I'm from the North, UID late 4000's and sat IST 24th March... My AC date seems to be alot later than most ive read on here, I'm end of June, don't want to wait that long! But that's such a relief just getting through the IST this time!

Now to pester Deloitte for my mark :D

Well done to all who passed and commiserations to all who didn't.

IST 23rd March UID mid 4K from the North

AC is end June also, will Deloitte give us out our marks or do we have to wait?

Cheers wannabe! I'm sure you'll be grand because I really didn't have high hopes this year, felt worse after the IST than I did last year! But fingers crossed for ya, and everybody ofcourse!

Now...wheres beca and this list I can't keep up with who's all getting what

I still have had no word. boo. IST 20th March and in Belfast so no excuse!!! I really would have found it helpful to have found this forum before i did my IST as alot of the comments are really well erm...helpful in hindsight. I didn't guess very many and felt like i left more questions than I could have afforded to out at the end. On the other hand someone passed using the same method who only answered 14 on the 2nd part, which gives me hope. But if i fail i definatley be guessing the last 10 next year before i start!!

Congrats to all who passed, sorry to hear about those who didn't and best of luck to those still waiting for the postman to arrive everyday since the 20th! ;)

Just got my letter of disappointment this morning and have to say a bit upset, not only the fact that I didn't get the desired score but when reading some of the postings on this forum from people who have passed and clearly have no interest in what policing is all about who seem to be only concerned about their wage. Seems that a lot of highly educated people who would not have considered a career within the PSNI before are now applying due to the lack of jobs avaliable.

Sorry to hear that you didnt make it dude. Totally agree with you about some people probably only apply cause they are out of a job but unfortunatly thats just the way it is! (bet they get in as well). Good luck for next time.
