    the real question here is.....

    Who is Cartman's Father??
If I had to guess - and I missed the episode last night - I would go for the Prophet Mohammad.

Apparently the website that carried the threat has since been hacked - http://www.revolutionislam.com/
That's the way to counter buffoons like them! Pacifism rules!

The show is current, hilarious and ridiculous.

I have to admit it, South Park is a guilty little pleasure of mine, one of my favorites is the Steve Irwin episode that came out a few weeks after his untimely death, there steve was with a stingray stuck to him, current and hilarious. They are like a dedicated few on Boards who go out with the intention of Trolling, they always get a bite from some Mullet/Muppet

Exactly without this kind of response South Park becomes irrelevant. Funnily enough I watched the first part a few nights ago. I was completely unaware that South Park was even still on the go. The cynic in me thinks the whole thing is nothing more than a ratings booster.

I don't really think that's fair. South Park consistantly nails every other show on comedy central in the ratings and has done for years, all they need to do to get the viewers is what they do week in week out. Besides there are easier ways to up your ratings without potentialy putting yourself on a hit list for some nut job, scumbag, oxygen thieves. I have nothing but respect for the writers.

    http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/television/comedy-central-censors-prophet-muhammed-reference-after-threats/story-e6frfmyi-1225857214307?from=igoogle+gadget+compact+news_rss
COMEDY Central has given in to radical threats made over a plot line in the hit show South Park.
The US cable network bleeped out all references to the Prophet Mohammed in the latest episode of South Park after receiving a warning from a radical Muslim website.
The episode was a continuation of last week's episode which depicted Mohammed in a bear suit.
Comedy Central confirmed to FoxNews.com it had censored the show, and that the episode was not available on its website either.
In addition to bleeping the words "Prophet Mohammed," the show also covered the character with a large block labeled "Censored."
A radical Islamic website had warned the creators of South Park that they could face violent retribution for their depiction of Prophet Mohammed.
The website posted the warning following the 200th episode of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's South Park, which included a caricature of the Prophet Mohammed disguised in a bear suit.
The web posting also included a graphic photo of Theo van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker who was murdered in 2004 after making a documentary on violence against Muslim women.
"We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show," the posting reads.
"This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them."
Abu Talhah al Amrikee, the author of the post, told FOXNews.com he wrote the entry to "raise awareness."
He said the grisly photograph of van Gogh was meant to "explain the severity" of what Parker and Stone did by mocking Mohammed.
"It's not a threat, but it really is a likely outcome," al Amrikee said, referring to the possibility that Parker and Stone could be murdered for mocking Muhammed.
"They're going to be basically on a list in the back of the minds of a large number of Muslims. It's just the reality."
A Comedy Central representative had no comment on the posting.

I guess that takes care of that. :(

God they get worked up over nothing, don't they?

Show a dark-skinned bloke in sandals with a beard and call him Mohammed, suddenly they want to kill you.
What is it with these people? The majority of Muslims don't mind, but some extremists get so worked up, they go round bombings trains or raping kittens or whatever they do to get their revenge on Western culture.

I mean, can't they just calm the fcuk down?

Trey Parker and Matt Stone's response to Comedy Central's censorship of the episode.
"In the 14 years we've been doing South Park we have never done a show that we couldn't stand behind. We delivered our version of the show to Comedy Central and they made a determination to alter the episode. It wasn't some meta-joke on our part. Comedy Central added the bleeps. In fact, Kyle's customary final speech was about intimidation and fear. It didn't mention Muhammad at all but it got bleeped too. We'll be back next week with a whole new show about something completely different and we'll see what happens to it."

Yet again Muslim extremists show just how out of touch with reality they are.

Seriously, by whose sense of reality?.

It wasn't that long ago that you'd be vilified for "using the lords name in vain" in this country if you so much as said "Jesus my arse is itchy".

So Muslims don't want Mohammed made a laughing stock of, we should at least respect that and leave the guy and their beliefs well enough alone.

Disclaimer for tonights posts - I'm hammered and have been contradicting everyone and everything all night.

However, Muslims do have their beliefs and I do believe we should respect them.

Getting fed up with all these bloody Muslim's and there Muhammad hissy fit's
shut the **** up and stop bleeping my god dam episode of south park

    http://www.xepisodes.com/southpark/episodes/1406/201.html

They more constructive things to do with there time than making death threats to people who make tv show's  If you dont want to hear it dont watch it then. Seriously if this crap keeps up there going to make me racist (well not racist cause its a religion ... so eh i dont know what to call it)

It's a pity Parker and Stone didn't actually try to draw him again though. They knew Comedy Central would probably censor it so they could've taken the moral high-ground.
It really is messed up that these nut-jobs are actually being rewarded for their behaviour.

I respect Muslims and their beliefs, however I do not have the same respect when it comes to Muslim extremists. Much like i have no respect of time for the Catholic groups who fire bomb abortion clinics.

Was it a simple case of Mohammed being made fun of while other religious figures were left alone then yes I could see their issues but when it's on South Park you have to accept the fact that anything is fair game.

That's fine for them, but it's spilling out onto our way of thinking. Why should we bow down and follow their way? It comes down to the age old argument, if you don't like something, why watch it? Turn off the f*cking TV and go do something else. Stop trying to force your beliefs on others. Follow your religion if you want, but don't try and villanise me because I don't put Mohammed up on some pedestal.

Really? It hasn't been aired in Europe yet, only been aired in the US 2 hours ago.. so logically the only copies of the episode (14x06 - 201) are sourced directly from the US. Have you seen it ? (201)

ehhh wasnt it on last friday night? or did i dream watching it.

hmm...don't they have something called a disclaimer at the start of the show?

Yeah I kinda knew overheal and aussie were referring to last weeks episode. You can't watch an uncensored version of 14x06 (201) anywhere.... yet!

They are religious fundamentalists. Some Irish people had reactions to Father Ted, the Lisbon or any EU Treaty and an episode of Eastenders.

They just are simple, salt of the earth type people.

    Morons basically.

The opposite is right on liberals calling all Catholic priests paedos, or expecting Catholics to be guilty over the sex abuse scandals.

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

Just watched the episode and am absolutely raging that these Muslims can dictate what is acceptable to show on a TV show, ****ing disgraceful, everything EVERYTHING should be up there to be made fun of. South Park has never pulled any punches when it comes to who they can/cant mock, nobody escapes.

Im so sick of religion in general, especially extremists.

USE YOUR GODDAM BRAIN YOU RELIGIOUS FREAKS, THERE IS NO MAN IN THE SKY LOOKING DOWN ON US ALL JUDGING US... YOU PEOPLE ARE PATHETIC.

I give it about a week before it's on every video hosting site on the web completely uncensored, hopefully.

Has anyone got a direct source of trey and matt saying they didnt want it censored, all I've seen anywhere is that copy-pasted message. I mean I watched the episode and it seemed to me like it was censored on purpose what with the whole tom cruise becoming censored as well later on in the episode.

I really dont think that all the people outraged or supporting this episode have actually watched it, kind of like the catholic church and the whole Life of Brian controversy. Well maybe they did have the prophet mohammed in the episode and comedy central censored it out but most people seem not to realise that he's been in the opening credits for a good few seasons.

I dont understand why these muslims are so getting upset over this and many other similar cartoons... it's just a cartoon people need to learn to either take a joke or learn to ignore it.

South Park, is easily the greatest animated series. The Simpsons, plays on its popularity and ease of getting guest celebrities. South Park uses intelligent plots to talk about current, real life problems. Anyone who has watched the show over the last 2 series or so will always laugh but say "that's so true". Now just for having that ability to relate to audience, and not just an American audience is genius that only the Simpsons writers over the last 10 years can dream about. I used to be a huge Simpsons fan but it's gone beyond ridiculous and the animation isn't as nice as it used to be. The stories are beyond tedious and usually involve Homer getting a new job and then deviating to something completely off-topic.
South Park is comic genius, that'll probably be taught in a college film making class.

its http://revolutionmuslim.blogspot.com/, still funny though! :D

That's funnier than orourkeda's. It start's off with an apologetic tone and then, boom! The author goes nuts.

    To paraphrase:

"The imperial western media made us look like gimps so we're going to explain ourselves better. Iraq war etc."

"Matt and Trey are evil. There are consquences...It's a kind of threat, in case you didn't get it"

"We're not saying muslims should kill but in the holy book it says 'kill Matt and Trey'".

"From the holy book we know that this is true....so it's true.....therefore it's true"

"in some man's book, Jews insulted ******** so they were killed. We'll show you this man's book if you contact us and convince us that you're nuts too"

"Free speech is how that man (another man) oppressed us. It's pornography, blasphemy, homosexuality....all those terrible things"

"We claim to represent all ******s. I assure you we are not insane"

"******s have a duty to kill those who mock Jesus, Moses and ********. Seriously, we are not insane"

"No, seriously, all ******s should be like this. Again, let me assure you thatt I am not insane. Have you seen this book?"

"As you can see, calling for the death of Matt and Trey is our duty. We're sayin' nothin' but they will probably end up swimming with the fishes. Not that we had anything to do with it."

"This is a battle between ***** and the imperial west"

"My fellow ******s say to me 'By God man, you're crazy' so I say, 'Seriously, I'm not, you are. You have been brainwashed by the imperial west' "

    "Western imperialism etc......derp derp dmtkrjrbs"

"Finally, we are crazy. Haha! Had you fooled didn't we! 'The west may have free words but we have free actions' - Osama Bin Laden. Muahahahaha..."

That's the gist of it. It's insane really. I don't know where they find these people. I've never seen a muslim in real life like that. The author comes across like that guy with the patch and the hooks for hands. He's a few pennies short of a shilling.

They don't say in the statement they didn't draw the black squares and as you said, it's necessary for the Tom Cruise joke to work. It's all the bleeps that were added by comedy central. (And yes I have watched the episode ;))

No. If you respect their's then you'd have to respect everyone's. And that would be crazy.

A Statement from Matt and Trey

Free Speech held ransom by - dare I say it - Terrorists.

Bet you anything though, the episode will get leaked in its original cut.

Its not really freedom of speech when it gets leaked on teh hinternets. I'm sure then it becomes a copyright issue. If it does comedy central would have some balls to try and pull it from youtube or whatever.
