Best Wii Racing Game

Ok, so i've read a good few reviews and they all kinda say the same thing,

Mario Kart, have it, bored with it, not enough tracks
The monster wheel one, I cant remember the name
and a Need For Speed title, Nitro, I think, but they say that the graphics are too comic-like

What's the best one out there for the wii?
I'm not into Formula 1, more of a WRC man, is there anything out there like the Gran Turismo that was so great on the old playstation?
I want something with loads of tracks and the ability to buy new cars and tune them up as you go along

Personally I loved Excite Truck. Not a racing game per se, since you can come last and win the race on points if your driving is dangerous enough, but still the best driving experience on the Wii I reckon (although I never got to try the sequel).
Having said that, it's basically 4 big tracks with different routes around them, no career to speak of, no car tweaking and only about 10 different vehicles. Doesn't really tick any of your boxes...

Colin McRae: DiRT 2 might tick a few boxes but it's a bit rubbish though.
Ferrari Challenge is the best one for realistic physics but graphics are bad even for the wii. Need for Speed Pro-Street might be the one you're after.
