Gougane barra down here in cork.

Possibly the most beautiful and tranquil spot on the whole of this Island.

In todays market it is probably worth about a tenner.
That's a pre-recession figure, right?. In which case I'am afraid it's probably only worth a fiver.

I just rent so I don't care, but in fact it's worth 7.50.

Was there once, nearly 15 years ago in fairness and mainly in the city centre, was not all that impressed with it I have to say, is it worth another go?

yes, best bars in ireland by a country mile (nightclubs not so good but unless you are a teenage girl why would you want to go to a nightclub), great festivals every summer like the arts, oyster, race week. galway has great culture, history, shopping, good hotels, nice seaside resort just a short walk from the centre (salthill)

within easy driving or public transport distance of connemara, west mayo (achill) and west clare

the one problem i have with galway is that its often too busy, shop street during the week can be just insane and many bars even during the week can be packed

Arainn Mhór, off the coast of Donegal. The land that law forgot. AND it's pretty!

Anywhere in Ireland - except the midlands. Or the North.

When in Kerry it has to be the Skelligs, best day trip by far.
