Free Fourball to Portumna

I was recently asked to write a review for Golf Monthly magazine on one of my favourite courses: I picked Portumna for the obvious reason that it is one of the best parklands that few people have ever heard of. If you want to see how good, check out the photos

Portumna were delighted with the piece and have given me a free fourball voucher to give away.

I did a similar thing with Rosses Point last year, so if anyone wants to enter the draw to win this fourball, just reply to this thread. I'll pick the winner and post it on Sunday night.

Thanks man, haven't played the course in about 10 years but really liked it back then and all the deer in the woodlands around the course. Count me in for the draw please.

I'd say count me in but I'm a member

Delighted the home course is getting a bit of publicity; certainly deserving of it. Tip to those that are going; try to play it if you can on the days after the Captains/Presidents prize when the course will be at it's absolute peak in terms of grooming. And hit the driving range too; it's pretty long off the back sticks. I can tell the winners of the competition the days of the Captains/Presidents so they can arrange around that. I can also give you recommendations for accommodation and food if you want.
