My own little tribute to the ginger ninja

    sphj6h.jpg

He's been my hero now for 15 years, I just cant express my admiration for this man. A bit like myself, he's really shy....not one for the bright lights and the TV interviews, always did his talkin on the pitch. And yes its fair to say his best days are behind him, and perhaps Chelsea will still sneak the league title this year, but by christ he made my day today. He would be of a similar vintage to myself :D Some of his passes today were just beautiful.

Well played young man. Well played indeed.

Well impressed with the performance today bar 1 or 2 players who didn't seem to put in a shift, but Rooney isn't fit so he has an excuse at least.Neville and Scholes were pretty top notch today and Gibson was impressive. We have given ourselves a small chance now.Hopefully we can seize on it and push on for our last 3 games and get over our dismal last few weeks.

    Believe.

Gibson was fairly dismal. He gave away a free-kick and had at least two no-chance shots, other than that he did fcuk all.

Why do I still think Arsenal are not in it?

Is it just us and Chelsea or will they fall at Blackburn or Citeh?

While Neville played well today, after seeing what Bale did to the Chelsea defence today, it might be a job for Rafael or maybe even O'Shea. With Vidic playing a blinder though today Fergie may gamble on sticking with Neville

My prediction for Arsenal v Wigan and Arsenal v Blackburn is two tough games, that will be low-scoring or 0-0 draws and an interview with Wenger of something along of: "Eh waaaaaah they eh woulda noteh letus ehh play eh ze referee ehhhh gave aour players eh no protection and Theo eh was eh sad becus he was eh bullied by ze eh analyst eh last eh weekeh"

    Just a prediction.:P

I think Neville should play against Spurs. I think the team should be pretty much the same except get Giggs off. Hope he doesn't play Carrick again. Gibson would be a worry for me against Modric and Huddlestone/Palacios.

Maybe he'll go 4-4-2 With Scholes and Fletch in the middle. Nani out left, Valencia out right and Berba and Rooney up front. Doubt it tho.

Listened to this on the radio in a car. Was gettinf frustrated as hell. Popped in to get a sandwich, Niall Quinn in the cue in front of me, bastard took an age getting his chicken stuffing and inion sandwich (Quinny is not a fan of mayonaise apparently). He was also only charged 2.50. Got back to the car for the last 3 minutes and it ended with a loud verse or two of "He scores goals galore, he scores goals"

    Get ****ing in.

Those Champions League goals from the Nou Camp never get old.

Solskjaer's at Camp Nou is still a bit of a tear jerker tbh. Nothing will ever top that, it was just extraordinary.

Cristiano Ronaldo does not believe Wayne Rooney will join him at Real Madrid.

Reports earlier this week suggested the Spanish giants were lining up a double swoop for the England striker Rooney and his national team boss Fabio Capello.

However, Ronaldo - who moved to the Bernabeu last summer - feels his former Red Devils team-mate will remain in Old Trafford.

He told the News of the World: "I am still friends with Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic at Manchester United.

"I think Rooney is very happy in Manchester and even if Real Madrid tried to sign him, I don't think he would want to join me here."

However, the Portuguese admits he would like to play under Capello with current incumbent Manuel Pellegrini's future unclear.

"Definitely," he added. "He is a very important coach, one of the best in the world, he has done a fantastic job in England and has won many titles in Italy so why not?

    "You never know."

The 25-year-old, who will travel to the World Cup this summer, believes "England are one of the best teams" in South Africa and wished them luck to "do nice things".

Last time the teams met saw Ronaldo accused of helping get Rooney sent off in the infamous winking incident.

Rather than regret the incident and subsequent furore, however, Ronaldo admits he would do it again.

"I must be honest, if the same thing happened with England and Wayne Rooney that happened in 2006, I would do the same.

"I didn't do anything wrong. I just defended the colours of my country.

"That is all that I did and I feel fine about what happened."

I saw the first half of the game yesterday and was driving back to Dublin with it on in the car, what a result. I was even more determined to get home in time for Spurs v Chelsea and it didnt disappoint.

I agree, Modric for me has played really well the last few games, be a great signing for manutd if it happened. Let Spurs have Carrick back at the same time.
